Damon Che is the greatest drummer in history, no question. The guy literally blew fire before resuming Don Caballero 3, one of the greatest instrumentals in music history.

Don Caballero is what if the sass of 90s record store employees a la High Fidelity was a band. Even King Crimson conformed a little bit and had a singer. I don't think DonCab would exist without the need for record store employees to justify their snobbery. And god bless DonCab for achieving this

@facetious hippo As a drummer, I have had that same thing happen where I had dropped a new stick while playing and some girl happened to get it. She came up to me after our set and got visibly PISSED when I asked her to trade me for a broken one because I was on tour, down to my last 3 sticks that already cost like $8 a pair of I buy like 10 pairs at once and was of course a broke musician. I did get my stick back because I was a "fucking rockstar asshole" and she didn't want it anyway. The irony was if I was such, I'd have all the free sticks I could ever need. Some people act like it's a baseball game and they caught a foul ball. That said, Damon could've handled it a lot worse. Good for him.
