Elijah's footage is awesome. Solar flares and all!
Coronas, not *exactly* solar flares.
We went to my parents’ home near Cleveland, OH. The owls started hooting. The landscape lights came on. My parents (elderly) needed blankets. There was just an eerieness to it. At the point of totality, there was a collective gasp and cheering in the neighborhood. So. Amazing.
The presence of Gods omnipotence was felt.
Elijah’s footage was amazing!!! Best I’ve seen of this eclipse! Bravo Elijah! 🎉👏🏻
Oh my gosh, poor Eve! We were at 93% totality and it was a little apocalyptic.
You should come back to Indianapolis and visit our children’s museum voted the best in the nation! Our city has so much to explore and do
So true
Oh man...we were in the same city at the same time! Living 3.5 hours away we had to make the drive to see the eclipse, though traffic made that trip twice as long (both ways). Photos and video just can't do justice to how incredible it was to see a total solar eclipse with your own eyes. Megan, I totally understand the tears, it was beautiful!
Elijah’s footage is as good or better than anything I saw on the news! Great job!
It's so awesome that you got to experience it with family that you hadn't seen in along time
This was one of the BEST VIDEOS of the Eclipse yet. Thx
Great pictures! I live in Louisville, LOU A VUL, lol. It's a shame you couldn't visit here this week and next, we have Thunder over Louisville, the second largest fireworks show in the country, an Air Show with vintage and amazing war planes, balloon glow and race, a steamboat race with the Belle Of Louisville, and lots more including the 150th running of the Derby.
I am over here clapping cause Megan mentioned weather modification and Chem trails 🎉🎉🎉. I love this vlog it seems so wonderful to sense this peace I think your hearts just needed to wander . I spent a lot of time in Indianapolis growing up my mom is from that area it’s a beautiful city
That was incredible ! Poor Eve, I felt bad for her
Right, like you feel sad she’s not enjoying it like the others. But even if you could predict that response it’s still good to get through frightening situations to see it turned out okay because that lesson can help keep them moving forward in life and not be crippled with fear. I think too many would have just said it would be frightening for their child and not go, but that sheltering doesn’t actually help them.
It makes us realize how really small we are and how reliant we are on the universe created for us. It always makes me emotional
Amen!
I’m from Indianapolis and I’m so glad you picked Indianapolis to see the eclipse! The roundabout downtown is the Monument Circle with the war memorial in the middle. Indianapolis is a beautiful, easy to walk about city. So glad you enjoyed it. 🥰
We were on the left coast for this one but when the left coast eclipse came through, we drove south a bit to see it. It was an insane bomb run, hotel with our crazy dog, finding a park and watching the eclipse with total strangers who felt like friends by the end of it followed by hours and hours of driving to get home. It is still one of my favorite memories. So glad you got to see this one.
Great footage Elijah!
Wow beautiful pictures of that Eclipse
Mike,"There are a lot of people here. ...It is crowded."😂😂
The footage was too cool.
You were an hour away from my hubby and I in Richmond IN. We went out to our yard and watched with our neighbors. It was amazing. The energy shift was so strong I couldn't stop crying. I stood in the yard barefoot and just felt the changes in our wonderous planet when the moon caressed the sun. Lunar eclipses happen more often but Solar eclipses are treasured.
My hometown☺️💖
I love that description, "energy shift."
I drove over 1100 miles from Florida to Ohio to see it. My family members were unavailable so I watched with a friend I have known for over 48 years. I need to stay alive for 21 more years so I can see the next one. It was an indescribable experience.
That has to be one of the best videos I've ever watched on Knorpp and South; the eclipse, the impressive architecture, art, and history of downtown Indianapolis, the skyline of the city, the mystery and beauty of God's creation, the scenery on the return trip, a surprise get-together with extended family, the tender comfort of a mother to her daughter, an incredible father . . . . that video has it all! I'm in So. America so I didn't get to see the eclipse. But I had a front-seat row, thanks to the Knorpp's. Awesome!
Really enjoyed this as I live north Suburbs of Indy in Hamilton County and wondered where all the people were that they said were coming to the area. They were all downtown and at the Speedway. I had to work that day from home but it was amazing to watch from my front yard with the neighbors! It was more amazing than I had imagined. Would travel to see it again. Elijah did a great job capturing the beauty as my photos didn't really show it. Also, what was cool was the frogs started chirping as they thought it was night time and all our carriage lights came on also.
I live in Hamilton County too!!....was a great experience that day!!....so happy that Knorpp and south family loved seeing Indy!!
I used to walk all over town as a child. Went to Washington high school.
I would have let you park at my house!!! ❤
WOW YOU WAS IN OUR NECK OF THE WOODS LOL. SMALL WORLD. We had a wonderful view of the eclipse. It was such a spectacular sight. Mike that is THE SOLDERS & SAILORS MONUMENT. This is a Memorial built in1902 to Honor all who served in These wars :
The Revolutionary War
The war of 1812
The Mexican War
The Civil War
The frontier wars & the Spanish-American war. Indianapolis & Central Indiana has many things to do & visit we have a wonderful Children’s Museum The Indianapolis Zoo The Indianapolis Motor Speedway & Museum & Conor Prairie just to name a few.
Yall really missed out on using this as a Homeschool field trip. I realize that this was a last minute trip. Maybe come back & visit all we have to offer.
GOD BLESS FROM WEST CENTRAL INDIANA FARMLAND.
I haven’t seen any footage of this eclipse, so I was doubley excited to see this video. Thank you SO much for sharing!
I'm only at the part where they arrived at the park, and haven't seen anything either. Excited!!!
The Circle is pretty neat! Hope you took time to read everything there. 😊 Indiana is a beautiful place and we are lucky to call it home!
Me too....love Indy
Indeed!
Megan if you like Art Deco buildings look up Napier, NZ. A 7.8 earthquake destroyed a good chunk of the city in 1931 and they rebuilt a lot of the buildings in Art Deco style.
The have an art deco festival where people dress up and lots of entertainment from that era.
I am so glad you all had a good trip. And enjoyed your Eclipse!
LOVE the beautiful shot at the end.... you captured a great shot of Louisville KY.
Us locals pronounce it Lou-a-vulle😉
Much Love and Hugs from Kentucky 💙
I live in Indy! Exciting that you were here. The eclipse was amazing. Glad you got to explore a little and see our Monument Circle downtown. Yes, Indianapolis is more than the Indy 500.
Im in lorain county, ohio where we had the best view in the world! Love yall, been a follower for years
Omg, y'all ended up in my city (Indy)!! That's awesome. Before you mentioned Lafayette IN, I thought we had great weather in Indianapolis, maybe they're going to Indiana, then when you end up in Indianapolis, I was even more excited to watch your experience, it was a great day and an awesome moment in time! I which I would have met you all. I'm so glad you got to experience the Total Eclipse and enjoyed your visit to Indianapolis. Safe travels, thanks for sharing!💖
Hello Knorpp Family! Great eclipse coverage, thanks for sharing it with us! And also… you guys, the whole family, just keep getting prettier ( & handsome-er) every day! Really truly! The guys ( oops, I mean the MEN) are so handsome & SO awesome & SO especially kind. And you gals ( while also being awesome & kind😊) are so beautiful! Especially you, Mama Megan! I love your longer hair & you always get your lipstick perfect! 💋 Papa Mike’s longer hair also looks pretty cool as well. You guys have such a wonderful, loving & cohesive family. You’re all so REAL, so down-to-Earth & relatable. Every time I watch your videos, I am truly grateful to “know” you all and feel honored to have been invited into your lives. Thank you for sharing so much of your family life & adventures with so many of us. We may never meet in person, but you will always be our friends. Sending hugs from the Northern California Coast! 🐾💕🐚🐋🐠🦀🪼🦐🦈🦋🦄🐝🐸🐰🐶🐱🐻🦊
You guys are the best you chase the great stuff to see. Your my kind of family ❤❤
A lot of looking at the eclipse without protective eyesore. Hope everyone keeps their full vision.
Wow, what a great experience with the added bonus of seeing family. Thanks for sharing the amazing photos too!
Poor Eve. I saw her in distress. Glad you noticed her. I guess she didn’t understand the mechanics of it and how it would manifest. You picked a great spot and were very brave to head to a major city for this.
So happy y’all were able to meet up with your brother.
You were in my son's mission! When you said you were going to Lafayette I almost peed my pants because he watched the eclipse at the church building there in Lafayette with his district! I thought I was about to see him in one of your videos and that would have made my whole week. ❤😊
Im so glad im not the only one that cried. I mean, wow... Wstched the totality from my front yard. Ill never forget. Im from central Ohio.
Fun to see you traveling
I live in seymour , Indiana and we had a neighborhood cook out and watched the eclipse
What an amazing experience! So glad you were able to enjoy it and share! 💕❤️
Omg brill video. Really enjoyed it. Love Megan's reaction. I was nearly crying myself. U have a lovely family. Love from South of Ireland ❤
It really was totality awesome! ❤
So exciting to watch this with you. Indianapolis is my hometown but now I'm in Florida. Love Indy. So many wonderful memories of going downtown and walking up the Soldiers and Sailors Monument to view the city from the top as a young person.
That was so awesome-- thank you for sharing this!❤ So wonderful for so many family members being together for it! We had 95% totality where I'm currently at in Mo. and that was great! The last one, when I was living in Boise, was even better than this one in Mo. So incredible, & a reminder of God's greatness & full control!!🤗💓🙏
How amazing..great views...we were not that fortunate here on Cape cod that was spectacular
I’ve followed you guys since you began your first RV journey years ago. Indianapolis is my hometown, so to see you come here was awesome!
Thank you for taking us along with you to the eclipse! My husband and I drove from Las Vegas to Texas to see the eclipse and it's magical!
It’s called the ci4cle where you were downtown indy
Thank you so much for your adventuring and sharing this unique experience. Bless you all. Stay well and passionate. Hello from Auckland, New Zealand : - )
Thank you so very much. I have never seen the eclipse before, and your footage is so beautiful. My gratitude to our creator, Jehovah, for giving us signs that he is with us and that only he can create such beauty, giving us a great experience. Again, you beautiful people, thank you ❤ Houston, Texas area
The eclipse is such a testimony of God’s faithfulness. 😊
Yes it was. You could feel the presence of God.
Or it’s just a celestial orbit..?..

Pearl is coolin'.
What a great thing to experience as a family, y’all got some great photos also!
AMAZING footage from both Elijah and Asher! Thank you so much for sharing!!!!!!
Great video thank you for sharing. Meghan you had me crying!!!
We completely forgot about it, here in Phoenix, because our AC went out and we had contractors at the house all day. My poor Mother went outside around 1:30 (our peak was at 11:20am) and was trying to see it with a hole cut in paper. She was so upset when I told her we missed it. Elijah's recording of it is the best I've seen. Thank you. That scene with the horse as you were driving back to the park! Wow!
Oh my heavens! The Knorpp’s were in my town! I live 10 minutes from where you watched the eclipse. Downtown Indy is fantastic!
We live in Noblesville, IN and saw it perfectly! Glad you got to enjoy it🎉
Me too...Noblesville is great....so happy they enjoyed Indy!!
We were in the path of totality as well and watched from our backyard on the lake in southern Ontario, Canada. I didn't have quite the reaction you did but it was indeed an incredible sight to see.
Hi Knorpp family, I have been watching your videos from here in England for years and really enjoy seeing you all. Thank you for sharing this eclipse episode as we didn’t get a look at the spectacle unfortunately. I look forward to each video to see what you are all doing and see how life is over “the pond”! Keep up the good work and hopefully you’ll come back to England 🏴 soon.
Filming vise a nice style to end the video, beautiful music and pictures of the landscape 😊
Where we live in kentucky is was about 98% totality. We cheered and clapped just like you. It was beautiful!
It's interesting ppl will often ask about signs from God or why he doesn't talk to us or show us His power. Maybe we've just become numb to the "science" of His creation?
Either way - it was a fun reason to celebrate and be in awe! I teared up watching your experience. Thanks for sharing.
How amazing!!!
Best solar eclipse ever! We were just west of Indy watching with family (W Lafayette; State College, PA; metro Detroit represented). Glad you enjoyed your visit to my home state!
My Hometown. Love Indy ❤
What fantastic footage!! Thanks for sharing.
Awesome video thanks for sharing ❤
That was beautiful. Magen, I almost cried when I watched you watch the eclipse. Thanks for sharing. Love yah Nancy
Awesome experience!!! 💜
It was very nice to share that with you all. We were a bit north of you when we saw it. We were lucky enough to see it from our front yard. We had 97% eclipse, not as cool as you got to see, but still really great. Great family experience.
Thanks for showing so much of the Elipse. It was cool to watch your video.
I missed your adventure videos! This is so fun, thanks for sharing your content with us 🤎
That was awesome ❤ thank you
I’m in Texas and just sat on my porch and watched the eclipse It was soooo amazing. Who could deny there is a God !
Now you are in my home state-indiana
Loved this! I’m so happy you guys are traveling again however long it lasts. You guys just seem more free enjoying all the small things again like exploring a new city. I’m born and raised in So Cal but my grandparents are from Indy. That city was their playground where they saw all the classics perform live such as Frank Sinatra. My great Grandmother was a true flapper of the clubs there in the Roaring 20’s. It was definitely one of the go-to cities of its time.
Enjoy your travels and stay safe. That was a wonderful video seeing the eclipse. Elijah thankyou too for the pictures. Awesome work!
This is so cool you were in my city .I got to watch it from my backyard. Glad you got to see it and visit my beautiful home town
This was such a brilliant video. Love the intense range of emotions and wow Elijahs video footage was superb
This was a beautiful video. I was home alone watching the eclipse at 85%. It was still very moving. But sharing your experience brought tears to my eyes for some reason. I love that you have chosen your share your life with us. Thank you.
So nice to see, and experience with you, the adventuring family back at it.
OMG! Amazing ❤
Thank you so much for sharing your solar eclipse experience. I live in central Ohio and I didn’t get to see totality. What I saw was pretty cool but nothing like your experience. The pictures you shared were amazing! All your excitement was fun to see too. Poor Eve. Felt so bad for her.
We live in Ashland County, Ohio and were in perfect position to see the totality from our porch---and the weather and skies were perfect! It was astounding and amazing, my boys and I had a wonderful time together watching it!
So sweet seeing Megan’s reaction ❤
I loved the shadows and lighting the eclipse made
"if the stars should only appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore; and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God which has been shown!" Ralph Waldo Emerson
Thanks for sharing the beautiful eclipse with us.
We saw the diamond ring it was incredible! Meagan you made we teary eyed. loved the video!
Thank you for this fascinating video! The reactions of you all are great to see and Elijah ‘s pictures are beautiful ❤️❤️
thank you for sharing this! I'm in CA, and out of scope. But 30 years ago my now husband and myslef went to Costa Rica for the total eclipse. It is a beautiful phenomenom! its amazing how the universe if full of awesomeness. Elijah's camera captured it beautifully. I also cried watching you get emotional.
This time we saw totality with clear skies from our backyard in Jasper IN. In 2017, we traveled to Kearney MO. My husband and I both have Twice in a Lifetime t-shirts in commemoration of both events.
Thank you. That was interesting...especially how you showed us both the awe and the fear.
I'm in Austin Texas sat out in the front yard alone (was teleworking that day). The sun seemed so hot to me. I'm with Megan the light color seemed to change to me as well. It was kinda cloudy here I got a few shots of the start then clouds the middle then clouds then the end. But was still amazing. I couldn't capture how dark it really was. My phone kept brightening it up. My neighbors rooster did start crowing once the darkness passed. Did anyone else notice that the animals became silent like the bee Mike recorded. I was also effected by what people are calling eclipse sickness. Various things from many people. My symptoms were dizziness, nausea, body weakness/ fatigue feeling drained. On a group I'm in a lady from England said she felt the same as well as people all over the US including those not in the path of totality. I wonder if Eve was feeling some of that. Aw Eve didn't get to spend time with her new friend. Miss you Andrew. It's times like this you miss home.
Thanks for taking us with you Knorpp's ❤
It's so cool you were in my city.
My home in Ohio was in the path of totality, and it truly was awe inspiring. I could hear cheers going up all through our neighborhood. How very lucky we all are. Thanks for sharing your family's experience. Elizabeth
That was fun. We watched it from our deck. It got really dark because of no road lights. You really got excited Megan. 😂🥰
Oh my gosh when you were at the Kia campground you were only 8 miles from me, if I had known I would have come to see you!!!!!!! I’m glad you guys had fun ❤️🥰😊
Everything you said about it being beautiful and tears. Was what i experienced in 2017 full eclipse. Seriously incredible.
Awesome pics/video from Elijah! Thanks for sharing. We were in Florida during the eclipse so we did see much at all. 👍🏻☀️👍🏻
So so happy you were able to enjoy Indy....come back someday and see the Amazing Childrens museum...and take a tour of the track!!!...so fun
