On that wobble comment, I don’t think unbanning it is a good call. The reason IC’s in melee isn’t the best character is because wobbling was banned. Plus it wasn’t fun to watch, fight, and even perform.
wasn't it banned because you get grabbed then you die if they wobble? i mean, how can someone not see why thats banned? play vs an iceclimbers and never get grabbed 3x or you lose... of course its banned! correct me if im wrong but thats my unerstanding. 1 grab = the stock.

The ban on wobbling wasn't really for the players iirc, it was for the viewership of the game, so was the ledge limit. The tournaments needs viewership to stay afloat. Im not up to date with ban discussions but the box being banned was more so about macros than the controller itself, which i dont think boxes got banned after all. Alot of the rules are just kinda silly though. Im afraid ssbu tournaments are gonna start running into similar pointless discussions because of its top tiers(Sonic and steve in particular). What are you gonna do, time the amount sonic is allowed to run? Count Steve's tools?
Where's the Gigachad Simon? Richter's a virgin man. (canonically this is true since Simon slayed Dracula all on his own, doing it for the sake of his clan whereas Richter only did it because his bitch Annette got kidnapped and he was carried. Also Simon's design is inspired by Conan the Barbarian and Richter's has no such origin.)

I'm all in favor of banning something that makes every match against a character infinitely more campy and boring
