Discover Resort Khandala, Lonavala: Old Property, Poor Service ,Disappointing Food 😔🍽️

In today’s video, I’m sharing my experience staying at Discover Resort Khandala, located in Lonavala. I booked this property through Goibibo, where it was listed as a "new property." Based on that, I assumed it would be fresh and modern, so I reserved a Discover Studio Quad Bathtub Room on triple sharing with breakfast for a one-night stay. Here's my detailed review:
Location : The property is situated on the old Mumbai-Pune Expressway, just a 12-minute walk from the Lonavala ST Depot. From the outside, it gives the impression of a new property, but reality strikes once you check in.
Rooms:
The rooms are outdated, with old and damaged furniture.
No TV is provided in the rooms.
For triple sharing, there were two bunk beds, which were decent, and the mattresses were comfortable.
The room lacked a phone to connect with the reception or restaurant-you’re provided with a WhatsApp number for assistance.
The AC in my room had water dripping all night, which disrupted our sleep.
Service:
Dinner took over an hour to be served, and the plates provided were low-quality, dirty, plastic ones.
Breakfast options were very limited: idli, wada sambar, poha, bread jam, watermelon, tea, and coffee. Sadly, the idli and wada were hard and not fresh.
Overall Issues :
Rooms desperately need renovation.
Service standards are poor.
Food quality is below par.
In conclusion, the experience did not justify the cost. If you’re considering booking a stay at this property, think twice. It’s not worth the money unless they address these issues.
