Hey Dexter love your videos you inspired me to start breed guppies and betta fish and some koi. You have showed me a lot and I’m still learning. #Australia
While My family and I lived in LasPinas M.M. there was a stream close by. So after the rainy season when the water looks clean one year I saw millions of beautiful, colorful wild guppies. So I made a net out of old white curtains and some bamboo. So I setup a 20 gallon aquarium with plants and a filter and added the wild guppies. At the pet store I bought 2 very small tin foil barbs for 15 pesos each and put them in a 10 gallon a couple years later they grew to hand size and would bang the tank trying to escape. One Day I came home to see the glass cracked and half the water gone. So I grabbed the fish bucket and took a tricycle to the pet shop. The owner was busy talking so I wait watching his many fish. He surprised me by saying he would give me 300 pesos for those two in my bucket. Ofcourse I said ok but was surprised as I was going to just give them to him and was waiting for my fish bucket, LOL.

tnks for ur all video. im mehedi from Bangladesh. im a subscriber of u r channel,being watching ur video i get inspired to breed ornamental fish.
i start with molly and guppy, few months ago, i was very happy. i got thousands of fry out of them, but now a days almost all of my fry is dyeing , im not using any filter or air pump i use lot of plants,as a feed i give them powder pillets and mosquito larva, every 7 days i change 50% of water ,i built tank with laminated suk . Every weak i found dead pregnant molly flooding on tank surface.
I really love them , cant see them to dye. u like to help people, please help me to get ride of this problem,

Try to use &Oxygen pump*and Use *Water pump* to make a makeshift filter for your pond.

@@yourmoistgrandma3202 why should I use water pump ?? I can change my water instead of using water pump. Oxygen flow can be good. Using water pump can be harmed my fry . water pump causes flashed away fry. Parents molly also eat their fry sometimes. They also aggressive too.
Yet again Dexter, another great video. We aquarists spend such a lot of money on expensive filters and filtration and yet, as you show us its really not necessary all the time. I'm waiting eagerly as usual for the the next video.

It's always best to have a filter system for all kinds of fish no matter what the breed. I keep mollys and have a filter and I haven't lost any in 2 years

what if it rains will the trapond overflow or does it have holes? i want those ponds too since i have so many platys but im very poor with bad carpenting skills lol. i study your videos a lot if ever i will have space and wood n trapal in the future. for now my fishes are in cooler ponds with sand at the bottom for bacteria and i mostly just top off the water and water change twice a month.
