***** I believe that this was built somewhere in the late 1970's, but it opened between 2007-2008.

Very surprised it's this slow considering this being traction

I never knew they were Lexan buttons for my whole life!!! In Its neighbor country India, a bunch of Otis Series 1 elevators are being modernized by these buttons!! I know you will be shocked to here that they are still available!

The buttons are actually called AK10 buttons, Idk who created the term Asian Lexan.

It was from the elevator wiki site in which I realize now that it’s not always accurate.

Slow for traction but it is a freighter.

I think it's not that Asian anymore. I've been in several Otis elevators in Latin American countries and they have these same fixtures. Including the only one in my hometown, it's a lexan too!

Praneeth Kumar According to Elevatorpedia, these are Asian version of Otis Lexan.

+ElevExplorings by JimLiElevators That is actually nice! And as I mentioned in an earlier comment, these are used for modernization in India. So I think that these fixtures are from the 90's to 00's. So I don't think they are vintage. By the way the modernization is for series 1 elevators.
