A couple of month's back I also felt really depressed. And anxiety got me a lot. And then I discovered BTS, this is one of the 1st songs I heard and it really spoke to me. Back when the time I felt no one understood my feelings, BTS was there for me. Their lyrics, songs and the boys themselves saved me. I was so down but I need to keep myself together for the sake of my kids, my hubby, and myself. BTS kept me sane and relieved all the stress, pain and anxiety. And I started feeling a lil better. Even though I'm not yet out of it, I am getting there. That's why I loved them so much!

The sincere, simplistic, and vulnerable reaction as you watched is everything I felt when I first saw the vertical MV version. I literally cried, and I didn’t know why. I didn’t know them- couldn’t even tell them apart at the time. Carpool Karaoke exposed me to BTS, (On Kinetic Manifesto) awed me, and Make It Right hooked me. I’m 43, and BTS found me at the worst time of my life after losing my 20 year old child, and they have helped me through many days since. Make It Right is a very beautiful song, which holds a very deep meaning. It is directed towards the people who understand you and are by your side. The MV is about a story of a boy and girl and also has a combination of clips from the Speak Yourself:Love Yourself Tour. The girl is supposedly representing ARMY and the boy is representing BTS. The boy started out sad and lonely but the girl came in to his life and stayed with him. “You're the only one who understood me And all that I was going through Yeah, I just gotta tell you Oh, baby I“ The animation progresses and the girl (ARMY) turns into a cape and covers the boy (BTS). The boy thought that the girl was gone, but he didn’t know she was right there with him the whole time. The animation also shows the boy and girl being locked by people, which shows how BTS were often hated and made fun of but ARMYS never left their side. At the last, the boy defeats a dragon wearing the cape. The cape was actually the girl (ARMY) who was supporting him but he wasn’t aware of that. When he defeats the dragon, the boy became emotional and cried which turns the cape back into a girl. This shows the love story of BTS and ARMY and how we will always be with each other. The MV also contained concert clips of the members backstage and singing. It also showed the ARMYS during the concert singing along with BTS and cheering for them. That was very heartbreaking and emotional.
One thing that most people will not notice is how J-hope pronounces his lines... it ends with "~걸" which is a simple way to end a sentence in Korean (It acts as ending a sentence by attaching to a verb or a adjective in colloquial expression) when stating a fact. However J-hope stylizes this with a bit ofna growl using a 'western' pronunciation making it sound like 'girl', which I see as reinforcing the message of love to ARMY in the form of the girl/cape. (Btw, the stylized '~걸' is also used by other K-pop singers, so I don't think BTS invented it - but it is certainly heartfelt here). I am a 50+ Korean male, and am continously amazed by the creative ways BTS appreciates ARMY.

J-Hope has an amazing singing voice as does Suga (have you heard Trivia 轉 : Seesaw yet). In the BTS Japanese song Film Out, Suga and J-Hope's part is my favourite part of the song, their vocals just hit me in the feels. This song was created after bts told at mma 2018 that they was talked about disbanding. It was some kind of apology to armys that they thinked to leave us and that they will make it better . In to mv animation with lauv the boy was representing bts and the girl was army who was protecting him while he was in hes journey , girl turned into cape to protect him from cold and when the boy woke up he didn't find girl beside him . So the boy was searching for that girl without noticing that she was that cape shield on him , if u would end up lauv version u would seen that after dragon fight boy cried cuz he didn't found that girl and tear dropped on cape and then girl turned back to real again . Tried to explain in with simple words I hope u understand what I mean . Btw dragon representing the hate and mistreatment and all the hardships bts went thrue while armys where their shield to protect them !
Discovering BTS years ago was a life altering moment for me. There's life before them and life after, so distinctly different. BTS therapy. They get me through the rough patches and make the good times that much sweeter. This is why I love BTS a lot, they do this kind of music for their fans, to cheer up them, to comfort them, to huge them with their voices, with that deep lyrics that make u cry but feel better as well. You're having a bad day? Don't worry, these guys will take your worries away and make u happy, it's amazing that we have this type of artist, who really care about their fans and wants to comfort them no matter what.
This song and the MV makes me cry all the time i watch it, bcs it's hard being BTS ARMY, yk the prejuices, the hate, the jokes, etc. BTS works so hard everyday and ARMY support them everyday as well, they got us and we got them. And i'm happy to say that i'll be there for BTS until at the end. 💜

the boys also almost decided to disband and end all the hardships...

I’m glad you were able to use this song to lift your spirits. When you’re feeling down there’s always a BTS song the cheer you up. This one has such a gentle vibe. I love it with and without Lauv. Many people have commented on how they are better live. It says a lot for a performer that their live performance is better than their studio performance.
This song feels comfort. BTS songs hit's different. That why I love them so much. This song says Army saved BTS on the dark and fight those. While I say as an ARMY they really saved me on my darkest days up until now. The bond and love between us is inseparable.

Jhope is supposed to be one of the vocals but since V chooses to be a vocal, Jhope gave way and became a rapper which he is still very good at.. not to mention his dancing..
Make It Right is a very beautiful song, which holds a very deep meaning. It is directed towards the people who understand you and are by your side.
The MV is about a story of a boy and girl and also has a combination of clips from the Speak Yourself:Love Yourself Tour. The girl is supposedly representing ARMY and the boy is representing BTS. The boy started out sad and lonely but the girl came in to his life and stayed with him.

And all that I was going through
Yeah, I just gotta tell you
Oh, baby I“
The animation progresses and the girl (ARMY) turns into a cape and covers the boy (BTS). The boy thought that the girl was gone, but he didn’t know she was right there with him the whole time. The animation also shows the boy and girl being locked by people, which shows how BTS were often hated and made fun of but ARMYS never left their side. At the last, the boy defeats a dragon wearing the cape. The cape was actually the girl (ARMY) who was supporting him but he wasn’t aware of that. When he defeats the dragon, the boy became emotional and cried which turns the cape back into a girl.
This shows the love story of BTS and ARMY and how we will always be with each other.
The MV also contained concert clips of the members backstage and singing. It also showed the ARMYS during the concert singing along with BTS and cheering for them. That was very heartbreaking and emotional.
One thing that most people will not notice is how J-hope pronounces his lines... it ends with "~걸" which is a simple way to end a sentence in Korean (It acts as ending a sentence by attaching to a verb or a adjective in colloquial expression) when stating a fact.
However J-hope stylizes this with a bit ofna growl using a 'western' pronunciation making it sound like 'girl', which I see as reinforcing the message of love to ARMY in the form of the girl/cape. (Btw, the stylized '~걸' is also used by other K-pop singers, so I don't think BTS invented it - but it is certainly heartfelt here).
I am a 50+ Korean male, and am continously amazed by the creative ways BTS appreciates ARMY.

You definitely have to watch the live performance of this song on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert especially if you liked the part where JK was singing under Suga's rap. J-Hope has an amazing singing voice as does Suga (have you heard Trivia 轉 : Seesaw yet). In the BTS Japanese song Film Out, Suga and J-Hope's part is my favourite part of the song, their vocals just hit me in the feels. Also if you liked Lauv's voice then maybe check out some of his stuff, he has an amazing voice. JK and Jimin sang on a song of Lauv's called Who, it's a slow ballad but all 3 voices are beautiful. This song was created after bts told at mma 2018 that they was talked about disbanding. It was some kind of apology to armys that they thinked to leave us and that they will make it better . In to mv animation with lauv the boy was representing bts and the girl was army who was protecting him while he was in hes journey , girl turned into cape to protect him from cold and when the boy woke up he didn't find girl beside him . So the boy was searching for that girl without noticing that she was that cape shield on him , if u would end up lauv version u would seen that after dragon fight boy cried cuz he didn't found that girl and tear dropped on cape and then girl turned back to real again .
Tried to explain in with simple words I hope u understand what I mean .
Btw dragon representing the hate and mistreatment and all the hardships bts went thrue while armys where their shield to protect them !
Discovering BTS years ago was a life altering moment for me. There's life before them and life after, so distinctly different. BTS therapy. They get me through the rough patches and make the good times that much sweeter. Impossible to truly convey how thankful I am for these guys and their music. 💜 Thank you for such a genuine and heartfelt reaction.
