This is very useful. Thank you for taking the time to walk through every step. Too may tutorials speed through things at a breakneck pace and leave out important details.
I think all you have to is look for the paragraph style you would have used for "chapter head" "9: Creating New Documents" let me know it this works...also you drop me an email at mark@easelsolutions.com and I will try to respond faster...thanks
Great video. I have a table of contents in a book. I want someone to be able to click on the chapter title in the contents section, and they will be taken to the appropriate page in the book which matches the chapter title. I want the chapter titles in the contents to be highlighted blue so that people know they are cross references. How do I get the blue effects? This book is being formatted for kindle. Thanks
Your video is good, but lot of people already made such cross reference video ad all of them based on pharagraph styles, no one made it for link to text. I am trying do links to text in tables, lot of cells - this is a product catalog and tables can stay bigger or smaller - other words cells in this tables cam move across document. When I open Link To "Text" I can't see any and can't select any - all selections is empty and I don't know how add something inside.
Still helpful after SIX YEARS! Thanks for a very clear and concise explanation.
sweet...I think it's because I am 98% student and 2% insturctor ;-)
This is one of the best videos I have seen for quality of teaching. It's nice and slow and doesn't presume the viewer knows anything. Perfect!
Thank you! Very concise explanation! Still helpful after 8 YEARS!! :-)
Working on a large report. This will be a great time saver, thank you
Outstanding, good luck on your project!

I just started working on a cookbook and this will save so much time. Thank you!!!
Very clear explanation, thank you! But would it be possible for the cross reference to show "#9" instead of "page 26"?

Your very welcome....someone had to show me, so I am very happy to pass it on...like "Da Vinci once said, 'I am but a mid-wife of information.' Cheers
