How he managed to become a coke rapper and never move on from that style is beyond me. But I absolutely refuse to believe he’s the man he portrays in his music.
Everything I’ve heard about his history indicates he and his brother grew up in a 2 parent household and had a lot of structure. Even if he did get into selling drugs at some point, he did it by choice. And I highly doubt he’s still on that shit, even though he still raps about it almost exclusively

The Recession was Jeezy at his pinnacle, and ever since then, he's been slowly falling off. And by falling off, I mean overall album quality wise, as far as single songs, he still made great songs, and some of his best songs in my opinion, after The Recession, but just complete album wise, he's been slowly declining.
Yeah he hasn't had an album worth playing front to back since then. I don't even think he has had many fire singles since then imo.
He has some CLASSIC songs and albums tho frfr.

I disagree. I think his last good album was “Seen It All”. Yes I think “The Recession” was prime for sure. But TM 103 and Seen It All were both solid album in my opinion.
Naw TM103 was arguably better. Literally the whole world was waiting on that album it got pushed back in 2010 and ended up dropping December 2011/12. That’s why he ended up dropping real is back and last laugh to keep people preoccupied until then. The Recession is number 2 for me.
