Tbh-the only reason I went with Toro was the Personal Pace self propelled system,of all self propelled systems,it is the best for me.The mower stops when I do,it goes when I go,no lever to manipulate,no having to adjust a speed control,it is simple like me.😎
Hello, i have a small lawn business where i use a 21" push mower, I'm seriously considering a 30" toro, probably the timemaster, it's just me and i wont abuse it. My lawns have a lot of obstacles where i have to do a lot of back n forth like under shrubs, maneuvering around trees and flower beds, ect. How do you find this mower in these scenarios? I noticed this lawn was pretty straight foward and clear.
I don’t record all my lawns. I have a lot with obstacles as well. Turfmaster is a lot easier to maneuver than my Scag 30 ever could. I will say though, depending on many you are doing a day, Turfmaster will have your back sore as there is no reverse. Hope this helps
@Southernreliablelawncare Thank you for the feedback. That's good to know about pulling it backwards but it sounds like a real time saver. I mow in the evenings after my day job so it would be nice to cut down on time. Thanks again
@@rubbabubba6489 no problem! 30 inch will definitely cut down on some time, but I can’t say it is a world’s difference. May want to look at walk behinds too and sulky
No one seems to like the scag 30” glad I went with an fw15, I am still interest in something like this mainly because it’s a 3 in 1- bag, mulch, discharge
Hey, I bought a turf master and I cut lawns at the height of two but it struggles and stalls Not sure if it’s just like this or something wrong with my mower
I have a question maybe u could give me some insight. Im looking at the older Turfmaster 30 inch vs the newer HDX version. Im looking at used for both. It seems that the newer HDX version is double the price i was wondering if u knew if it was worth it? Thank you
They have the time master and the Turfmaster. Turfmaster is a commercial mower and is pretty much double in price. Both are machines and both are bound to break down at some point. I would go with what you can afford right now and afford to put some money into since they are used. Hope this helps! Love my Turfmaster HDX. It did, however, just break down on me last week.
@@WatchingUntiltheEnd man I’m down here with warm season grasses, so I don’t really know about cool season. But I am truly impressed with the quality of cut with my toro (Kawasaki) Turfmaster.
Did a lot of researching once the Scag started to have issues, decided Toro was the best brand closest to me. Not completely done with Scag, but for the moment I am. Toro so nice, not sure I will ever go back though.
I have another video on my page talking about issues I experienced with Scag 30 if you have not already checked it out. Got some good views and feedback

Toro/exmark is number 1 in the industry for a reason!
Amen! I agree, I am just late to the party!
I love it just i got mine last week, very powerful nice cutting
@@castlelc80 awesome!! You will enjoy mowing with it every time!

Loving it! Unfortunately, the Turfmaster just went down on me though. Only 5 months old and it’s been in shop for a week waiting on parts.
@@Southernreliablelawncare What went down specifically? Trans? Pulleys?
@@Article94 idler pulley completely went, threw the belt off and blades collided. Wild for 5 month old machine, I’ve worked it good but still
@@Southernreliablelawncare I went ahead and picked up a SCAG 21" today.....THAT thing is a little BEAST. Unbelievable power with that 7HP Kohler.

It can bog down at 2 inches or shorter depending on what you are mowing. Try side discharging
Kohler engine or the Kawasaki?
@@WatchingUntiltheEnd Kawasaki. My kholer bogged down on my Scag though too so they both aren’t bulletproof

@@Southernreliablelawncare Was that user error or just wear and tear? Only had it 1 month right? I would expect better quality from a $3k machine.

Thus mower really shoots grass out of the discharge.
Too heavy. Too many problems on reviews.
