A little tip too! Salt is a GREAT way to cleanse crystals especially once they're newly bought or you need to reuse them after a spell, just make sure you do a little research on what kind of crystal you have since salt may be damaging to certain kinds 🥰✨

So, one should not use salt to represent Earth on the altar? I have to admit, this has me a bit confused. I was always led to believe that salt cleansed negative energy, but attracted positive energy. :-/
Salt, by default, is neutralizing. It "can" be "programmed" in some ways, like with crystals, but I can see where it would not be a good idea to use on or near an altar as it can and probably will interfere with your magick. Last thing you want after spending hours on a working is to realize it was in vain due to the jar of salt nearby lol.
You can use salt to represent the Earth element during ritual or any spell casting or any other magical workings. As in every aspect of Witchcraft you should do what feels right to YOU! I think she meant that you should not leave an open container of salt on your alter after the fact. I have salt on my alter ALL THE TIME but it's closed inside a vial unless I'm performing ritual. It works for me and I'm not gonna change it!

Salt is also useful as it is essentially a crystal. Many many small crystals, which can be "programmed" and "put to work" as you would any other crystal. They tend to be neutral, kind of like quartz, which, for me, means you have a near-endless number of uses for it. The problem with salt is that it can dissolve in high-humidity and if it gets wet. It can also be corrosive and dang near impossible to fully clean up. It also seems to not hold programming for very long like larger crystals can. This is why I love quartz. You don't even need special quartz crystals either. If you live in an area where quartz is plentiful, you will very likely find dozens or even hundreds of quartz rocks in just about any gravel driveway. Each one can be used in magick just fine. Of course, they may not be as good with specific physical directing of energy, but they can still work in other areas. I've picked my driveway clean of quartz lol. I'm almost tempted to buy a load of gravel to re-gravel my driveway just so I can get some more quartz lol.
I use rocksalt around boundaries of the property protection against negative energies, too bathe is good and if only a shower added to a bottle of water and wash ones self down with it, also good for getting shot of bad spirits if out of white sage or blue candles. Oh best avoided near plants tends to kill them, tho excellent to get rid of unwanted grass/lawns. Excellent video lil witch lady 👍🧙♂️👍
Thats good to know as i have a salt lamp on top of a big piece of quartz and its on a table where i have all my cristals and my spirit boxes so maybe i should put it somewhere else. Great videos as always.

What drew you to the calling of being a witch was it something you always felt you were or did you have a line of witches in your heritage? My husband and others call me a witch and to be honest I always looked at the term as very negative maybe it's because of the religious background I was brought up in but the older I get I realize looking back that my Grandmother, mom and aunt all had a unusual amount of discernment and psychic (maybe women intuition) ability and have all been more drawn to natural and holistic healings again hidden or hushed due to religious fears or maybe it's just my take on things. Ann r you just need to absolutely clear on your intention for the salt. When putting the salt down at thresholds you need to focus your intentions on keeping negative energy out.

i have a personnel story to share that happened to me somewhere in year 2007-2008 if i am not wrong on these years , back then i used to work as a cashier in a bar and finish late shifts of duty , i had always encountered drunkards , particulary there was this one asshole that used to come and and dine always making a mess , getting drunk having an attitude and refusing to pay his bills , also when when other customers leave me tips he would take that opportunity to have an advantage on me by refusing to pay his bill when he oversaw , as he happened to be a friend of the owner it was hard and I did voice out complains to my superior but the matter had gone on deaf ears - I remember this guy used to wear black magic talisman ( those from Siam THAILAND) - to add on another story I was also bullied and was taken advantage of my other colleagues being a dumb ass and totally new in the working industry, long story cut short - I bought one day a new packet of salt to work and when this particular person came , I bent down in the bar poured some on my palm and talked to my salt, chanting some incantations over it and blowing on to it, when the usual asshole when to toilet after a few shots of alcohol , I took the opportunity to sprinkle on his pathway and also the place he would sit and in the surrounding of him when he would get back , the bar was dark but had flashy lights like the one that goes round in a disco - when he came back as he was walking after a few steps his face was red as chilli and he could barely stand or put his hand or move about , he was struggling , he was not drunk at all yet but he was fully sane and aware during this period , I could see intense and he said straight forward to the bartender next to me that he feels very uneasy I feel SOMETHING ain’t right he said and he mentioned that he was getting chiils on himself .I was fully observant a hundred and fifty percent sure that it was the salt that I sprinkled and scattered around was working some magic.This is a true story .just to add one I am Asian and I am HINDU - we do use salt and black pepper in hindusm in fire ritual ceremonies In the temple with many vedic reasons to it - just to share my 2 cents worth of experience in your channel - god bless you honey

If you don't have a bath you can make a salt scrub for when you're in the shower.

i have a personnel story to share that happened to me somewhere in year 2007-2008 if i am not wrong on these years , back then i used to work as a cashier in a bar and finish late shifts of duty , i had always encountered drunkards , particulary there was this one asshole that used to come and and dine always making a mess , getting drunk having an attitude and refusing to pay his bills , also when when other customers leave me tips he would take that opportunity to have an advantage on me by refusing to pay his bill when he oversaw , as he happened to be a friend of the owner it was hard and I did voice out complains to my superior but the matter had gone on deaf ears - I remember this guy used to wear black magic talisman ( those from Siam THAILAND) - to add on another story I was also bullied and was taken advantage of my other colleagues being a dumb ass and totally new in the working industry, long story cut short - I bought one day a new packet of salt to work and when this particular person came , I bent down in the bar poured some on my palm and talked to my salt, chanting some incantations over it and blowing on to it, when the usual asshole when to toilet after a few shots of alcohol , I took the opportunity to sprinkle on his pathway and also the place he would sit and in the surrounding of him when he would get back , the bar was dark but had flashy lights like the one that goes round in a disco - when he came back as he was walking after a few steps his face was red as chilli and he could barely stand or put his hand or move about , he was struggling , he was not drunk at all yet but he was fully sane and aware during this period , I could see intense and he said straight forward to the bartender next to me that he feels very uneasy I feel SOMETHING ain’t right he said and he mentioned that he was getting chiils on himself .I was fully observant a hundred and fifty percent sure that it was the salt that I sprinkled and scattered around was working some magic.This is a true story .just to add one I am Asian and I am HINDU - we do use salt and black pepper in hindusm in fire ritual ceremonies In the temple with many vedic reasons to it - just to share my 2 cents worth of experience in your channel - god bless you honey
