The recently released, “Miraculous: Tales of Shadybug and Claw Noir” has left fans of the series with burning questions that they’re desperate to find answers for! One of this special’s mysteries concerned the Kwami of Reality, Gimmi, and why she failed to appear when the alternate version of Marinette combines the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous? Although the special takes place after the episode “Destruction,” it isn’t released until after the season finale, “Re-creation,” where Gimmi receives a complete introduction to the narrative of Miraculous Ladybug.
That introduction is where the confusion arises. In “Re-creation,” Gabriel successfully summons Gimmi and has his wish granted. However, in the special, Tikki and Plagg are prevented from unifying under Shadybug’s command due to the interference of a faceless villain, referred to as “The Supreme”! Since Gimmi appeared as such a prominent and cosmic being, it is hard to imagine anyone having such assertive control over them. That’s why, in today’s video, we’re considering how “The Supreme” kept Gimmi from revealing themselves.

I also have something to add to it:
Kwamis can only use their powers based on their lips, like the wielders they also need to say certain words. When summoning Gimme, Tikki and Plagg had to kiss in their true forms, since their lips were sealed, neither works
They dont kiss they unite and being gimmi
They don't kiss, they hug and fuse together which allows Gimmi to manifest within the physical realm

Their lips were sealed so they were unable to do their “I am the kwami of -- and I am everything that --.”
They didn’t kiss. They did a small dance similar to fusion dances in Dragon Ball. There was no kiss involved. It would also be weird if there would be one because for 2 reasons.
1: all Kwamis are siblings (confirmed by the fact that they refer to each other as brothers and sisters)
2: Tikki and Plagg are twins halves of the same being. (Also confirmed because of Gimmi)
It would both be i*cest and self-cest if Tikki and Plagg kissed. Besides Kwamis can’t love so a kiss is just useless because it is a sign of love but all Kwamis are aromantic.
I can't help but think that Supreme (Or maybe the main universe's version of it) may be the entity that appeared, surprising Lila at the end of "Re-Creation".

i think the supreme may be an intangible entity that spreads itself via its seal (so he is immortal but he also doesn't have a true body instead the entire order of guardians act as his hosts and through that connection he is technically always wearing every miraculous gaining access to the wish by effectively directly connecting himself to its source
I think the Supreme is actually Markov since later in the movie, we're reminded that if a robot were to wish to become human, another human would have their humanity taken away.
We also learn that Max is in the form of a robot...

@@liamglam6534 that's what I was thinking too. Since (as we've seen when Ladybug became the Guardian) the Guardian determines the design of the box. And the seal on Tikki and Plagg's mouth is similar to that which appears on Fu's miracle box. So it reasons that maybe instead of using the peacock miraculous when he was younger, he instead went with the nuclear option and made a wish.
I was chatting with a friend and I have a theory: the supreme is Felix.
Hear me out:
Let’s say there was a reality where Gabriel does go back in time to fix the peacock miraculous. Emilie doesn’t die, yay! But also, he later gives the peacock miraculous to his brother in law, who we know to be abusive. Felix suffers that abuse for years longer, warping him further. There is also the possibility of some trauma befalling Amelie. In which case Felix is likely capable of causing his own brand of chaos, seeking the power to bring back his mother. In which case he may well seek out the reality bending powers of Gimmi and make himself the supreme (similar, in effect, to his actions with the red moon Sentimonster).
i like this theory a lot but i feel like his intent to gain supreme power is almost the same as what we see in the original series; if the parallel universe is supposed to be the opposite of what they are then i feel like it doesn’t make much sense since Adrien is already trying to do that to bring his own mother back. what do you think of the possibility of the supreme being master fu instead

It wouldn't make sense since as we can see in the episode, it was specified that only the supreme can use Gimmi's powers, so if Felix is the supreme, he would already have what he wants, so there's no point of him dragging everything else out (such as seeking out "minions" and granting others miraculouses ESPECIALLY the bug and cat miraculous).

I think so too.The seal on Tikki and Plagg's mouths looked similar to the design on Fu's miracle box and as we found out when Marinette became the Guardian, the box's design is determined by the Guardian.

Remember the rules when asking a wish from Gimmi, everything has a sacrifice. If you wished for strawberries to turn purple, then grapes would turn to red.
And if the mage wished Gimmi to grant them immortality, something or someone would have to end theirs. And if the mage wished for Gimmi to harness Gimmi's powers, then there would be a consequence.
Since Gimmi is the kwami of reality and has power to reality and the mage asked for a way to harness the power to reality, then in other universe, it would lose their reality perhaps?
It's not quite simple just for the mage to wish for big things like that.
The universe needs balance.
Since neither Kiki or Plagg could talk, perhaps the wish was to become the master of their combined Gimmi form and then ordered them into submission and silence even if they were in their normal forms? So when Shadybug tried to summon Gimmi, they couldn't because they already had a master they couldn't disobey and thus couldn't be summoned even in another world?
I think that the cost of immortality goes like this:
"You will live forever, and thus, someone else will never live."
I hope to see Gimmie/Gimmy, ( I don't know how it's name is spelled) makes at least 2 more appearances. 1 where Marinette talks to the combined form just to talk to it. After all, it did complain that in the past, when summoned by other people, all they did was make a wish, not simply talk to Gimmie. It would be very interesting to hear what Gimmie and the person who summoned it would talk about. Maybe in the next season or 2, Ladybug and Cat noir find out each other's identities, Marinette tells Adrian about Gimmie and it just wanting to finally talk to someone, and the summon it to do just that, talk about stuff. That would be awesome to see and listen in on.

Does anyone think that maybe the Supreme is Gimme? As Gimme said in the episode "Re-creation", human only summoned him/her to complain. Maybe in that parallel world, Gimme is tired and annoyed by all the human that are ungrateful and dissatisfied with their lives, so Gimme decides to us his/her own power to bend the world to its own will. So that he/she will not be used for personal interest again and again. Also, as the voice interrupting the chanting said that only the Supreme defines reality and Reality IS The Supreme.

Lets be honest, Good Gabriel should know that the miraculous he weilds can be more powerfull than ever. He can grant his most loyal ally to boost his powers to kakimotize more than one person and upgrade his comunication and telepaphy abilities to max distance. (like in Catalyst) He could give the entire resistance, or anyone who wants to fight back against the supreme, super powers. He could technically kamikotize the entire world if Gabe managed to get the people on his side.🤔🤔

I think Gimmi in the main series was able to appear because the alchemist who created the miraculous bound Gimmi to the two kwamis, while in the special the supreme, who replaces the order, bound an entity of nothing to them.
What if the Supreme Made Gimmi their own Miraculous and so thats why he can Defy and Define reality and make it so ShadyBug couldn’t make her wish? I think I may be onto something
but that would be impossible without tikki and plagg. tikki and plagg are gimmi so that would be questionable.
I think the supreme is someone who already used Gimmi to gain a wish.
About the “wishes” the Supreme could have made: if he makes a wish, he has to trade something equivalent. So he couldn’t take Gimmi without losing something equal, nor could he get immortality unless somebody else loses it.
He could still be the Mage. If there isn’t an Immortality Kwami, then the Rooster can grant himself immortality, or he could use the Butterfly to make somebody grant it to him (including himself), or he could use the Peacock to make an age reducing/healing being…
Supreme could have wished for Gimmi's powers. It equals out and goes in line with what he said: " Only The Supreme defines reality. Reality is The Supreme!"

Why not Master Fu? I mean, as you say in the AU the main characters that have a connection with Miarculous have their position, in the good/evil faction, swapped. We saw Marinette, Adrian, Gabriel but never Master Fu the man that started everything, so I think that instead of a faceless character (shown maybe during 1 episode) someone like Fu who was at the center of the story for 5 seasons is more likely to be the Supreme and it's going to be a good usage of his model now that he is out of the games in the Normal Universe.

If the guardian of the miracle box controls the miraculouses, and wielders can command the kwami, then it's possible that the current guardian (perhaps an alternate Master Fu who lived for centuries) could have placed limitations on the alternate Tikki and Plagg to prevent their fusion into Gimmi.

My personal theory is whoever "the supreme" is , his wish to Gimmi was to have his powers for himself this can explain why parallel Tikki & Plagg have their mouth shut by tese weirds symbols and the summoning failing cause "only the supreme can make reality".
your theory sounds true but here's a film theory that you should take into action.
1. Gimmi can only appear when tikki and plagg are combined so a ring or badge of a quami gimmi can't exist so the supreme doesn't have gimmi.
2. the supreme could have wished that he had a ability to place a seal on tikki and plagg or an quami to control them and to prevent anyone from summoning gimmi to undo his control.
3. We never seen nooroo have the seal on them throughout the show, so unless only tikki and plagg are the only ones with the seal on them then maybe the other quami does or doesn't.
4. the supreme could have been once part of "the Great Guardian of the Miraculouses" and betrayed the guardians and stole the miraculouses and wished for control.

Going by this video the kwami are like Primus and Unicron before the retcon. They are multiversal singularities, there is only one version of the kwami that exists in every universe at the same time.

It's likely that The Supreme is an evil Master Fu. While he turned out to be a good guy in the main universe he hated being a part of the guardians when he was a child and in another universe that animosity could have evolved into true hatred then pure evil.

the supreme is Master Fu who in that reality is bad, but not from the beginng but when he lost Marianne during the war, like in the episode where the duo travel in time in pursuit of Monarch, there is a scene during war where Fu and Marienne split to escape from military, so in the alternate world Marianne probably die, Fu used the miraculus to bring back Marianne, but in that moment she know the price and despite him to sacrifice someone else to bring her back, so from that point Fu decide to turn evil and destroy evrything bc of tired that the world dont go in his way, and as he know how powerfull is Gimmi, he choice to seal Tiky and Plag so no one can use the reality power to alter his world.

I just realized that 2 more people knows about Ladybug's and Chat Noir's identity and it's Shadybug and Claw Noir and Shadybug also knows Chat Noir's and Claw Noir knows Ladybug's identity.
Remember when Ladybug and Chat Noir tried to talk some sense into Shadybug and Claw Noir that they do can change into good, they just need to try and close out every bad things in their life? When they did, they both revealed their identity to their parallel universe self.
And right now you probably wonder how Shadybug knows Chat Noir's and Claw Noir knows Ladybug's identity. I'll explain it. When Shadybug tried to grant her wish, she needed her miraculous and Claw Noir's miraculous to summon Gimmie / Gimmi. Technically she just took Claw Noir's miraculous off of his finger while handcuffing him, making him detransform, and then she saw behind Claw Noir's mask is the parallel universe Adrien. Paralell universe Adrien also saw the paralell universe Marinette detransform, making herself reveal that she's Shadybug. And in the end of the special we all see the 6 of them standing near to the eiffel tower. I think Shadybug and Claw Noir is not that stupid to not figure it out that behind Ladybug's mask and Chat Noir's mask there's their good version of Marinette and Adrien and they know this very well after they revealed their identity to each other.
PS: How in the camembert they didn't been able to figure it out that Betterfly (Hawk Moth's parallel universe, who is using his miraculous for the greatest good) is Gabriel? 😂 I mean his hair was showing, and it was like Gabriel's hair, even the color was the same, only the style was different 😅🤌🏻

I think so to, but in this parallel world Master Fu purposely destroyed the guard temper and not by accident.

My predictions were that the supreme either set a rule to the Kwamis that they work for, to follow what they say but never let them harm them, or also made a wish that Gimme could only form for him and that the Kwamis would be under his complete control.

To grant eternal life to someone, I think the trade-off would be that every so often, a random person loses their life to add years onto ths former person's own life.
That will make Supreme a omniversal threat since he's dangerous to the whole entire multiverse. Omniverse is the term where all multiverses live just like in Spider-Man beyond the spider-verse. And then there could be something call omniversal dimensional travel when two different omnivoreses interact with each other like the DC versus Marvel comics.

you see Gimmi can be summoned because The Supreme has created a spell if any wish was created on their world, Gimmi cannot be summoned due to a spell created by The Supreme.

Here's a theory. Master Fu was the guardian of those Miraculous and each guardian has to protect a miracle box. And we know that Master fu gave the box to Ladybug. And we learn that Shadybug is not the guardian of the miracle box. So what if the Supreme is actually master fu. It makes sense cause Hawkmoth has two miraculous and because of that master fu lost 2. And the Supreme gave Gabriel one but Gabriel took 2 and because of that the Supreme lost 2 miraculous. So in the end the Supreme could other been Master fu. (p.s. they never talk about master fu in there world so it could be that he change his name to Supreme instead of master fu and master fu knew about the miraculous and there power and he has the book about it so either ways master fu could be the Supreme.)

I think that the supreme is none other than a guardian of the miraculous. The guardians choose someone to train to replace them and look after the miraculous what if someone studied and found secrets to the Kwamis and when they found out enough about them they betrayed to guardians and ran with the miracle box to ensure that no one could take away his power he summoned gimmi and made the wish to become one with gimmi having control to ensure that nobody could take away the supremes power

So lets just say that supreme make a wish to be the only person who can make a wish but to balance the reality he has to lose something like other people lose the wish that gimmi can grant but the real question is what supreme lose so the reality could be balanced
My thought is as he made a wish where he could only be making a wish not anyone else, so like only he can make the wish
I had a theory that the supreme is actually master fu but he destroyed the others guardians on purpose but he saved the miracle boxes and harnessed their power making him the owner ruler and guardian of every miraculous and their corresponding quamis. He then used that power to take over and control the world. is it a good theory?

1. the supreme made a wish that only he was the only one allowed to make the wish
2. you cant make a wish in another reality

if the Supreme find out that there are other univers, then if he got the butterfly miraculous or, he can use it to travel in every univers to create more chaos and get all the miraculous. or he can also use the rooster miraculous
If us, real life people, had the ability to summon an entity that would be able to grant a wish dear to our hearts, I would wish for eternal beauty, youth, and immortality. The dream to be ever beautiful, young, and live forever is all I could ever dream of as I could see the future beyond natural mortality.
