I too but when life become threatening I rise up to overcome and surpass the mainstream bullshit. That is not life but a toxic channel for death. Never really felt “a part” of anything. I can feel lonely in a room full of people. Not really anyone I call talk to that won’t start thinking I am weird. No one ever “gets” me. I have always had the ability to “mentally put myself in the other person’s shoes”. I do better when I isolate myself from everyone. Sometimes I think I am just plain boring…I don’t think the way others think and this has caused problems all my life. I have been told in the past, “You don’t see the big picture” mostly because I didn’t see or agree with their “big picture”. This has always caused me problems. I go through a lot of “agreeing to disagree”. I can do that…but most people cannot…and they seem to dislike me if I don’t agree with them. Neither am I easily manipulated and my Bullcrapometer goes up every time someone is trying to manipulate me and I have a tendency to avoid them after. Many time I feel like this is not may home but I can’t remember where I came from..which makes me cry a lot because I just want to go home..I don’t want to be here anymore

Express yourself as you see and feel it. How others deal if they disagree is their problem. I dont want to be here anymore either. I can relate.

I have had an eagle's eye view of the world my whole life. Strong empathy as well. Very lonely in my perspective and never fully understood by others. Self suppressed at a very young age to fit in and try to find friends. Now I am almost 55 and have lots of associates and no friends and no partner. Try to find groups that meet up to explore nature. I think people like us must put ourselves in the place that has truth and meaning. Modern society or culture ‘ Is not your friend’. An alternative might be to volunteer with a charity that helps the maligned and vunerable.

Same here, but I'm OK with not getting too attached to anyone or having anyone dependent on me. It seems "solo soul" fits me better than the people pleaser I had become, and I realize now that I wasn't lonely so much as my ego was starving. When I stopped letting my ego drive the car, everything got easier. I''ve always seen the "big picture" and been frustrated that so many can't or won't. Wow! I had been told I am an old soul but didn't see any reason to believe it. I registered yes on all five statements of an old soul. In fact, earlier today, I said to Spirit it's so difficult to be human and how I often feel apart, feel stuck and am lonely as well. I'm 76 and totally resonate with the teaching. The most benefit has been reading the comments and realizing how many others are experiencing life as I am. It is a lonely journey. I have been in many relationships and numerous groups only to find disappointment after joyous hope. I live an isolated life. It is so helpful to have this community even if only in this format. ❤❤
I have all of this. Since my earliest memories. It’s a nightmare to live with now in this life. Im 51 and have been struggling for what seems like forever. I have tried over and over and over again to accomplish purpose here, so i can fulfill the destiny i feel in my heart, but no matter what I have tried, it doesn’t change my daily circumstances. I am so frustrated. I have begun not to even care anymore. Almost, to the point that Im done here, I don’t want to continue living like this, and praying tjat God will just bring me home. No, Im not suicidal, I wouldn’t do that, but I am so empty and so beat down that I just have nothing left in me. I’ve opened businesses, I have tried other things, I wrote a book, I created intellectual property, all at what I call God’s internal beckoning, and just nothing happens. thank you for writing this, these past few days I've had the strong conviction that I must move (from living in a "young" city in N. America). Our mission as old souls is not to isolate from these young souls, but to lead them spiritually and show them how to live more harmonious and loving lives.
I understand how difficult it can be. I was there myself a few years ago, thinking nobody in the world could understand me. I was driven to the depths of despair so I could discover who I truly was. Enjoying your own company is truly a gift. I learned that too. There's much spiritual development to be had in solitutude or amongst other old souls. But there is equally as much to be had in relationships with young souls, as frustrating and lonely it may feel to be around them at times.

I’m aged 43, but I feel I have lived an intense life, with lots of pain, lessons and surrender. My soul has grown and been humbled. I am blessed at this time. I resonated so strongly with every word your said! It’s so nice to hear someone say those things out loud, because that means there is someone out there who understands me! I’ve spent my whole life trying to get used to the fact that no one really knows me. It’s incredibly lonely. Even the people who know me the best, my husband and children, only know part of me. I’ve never met anyone who understood the more hidden aspects of me, the aspects you describe here.
I've felt this same thing. I just stumbled across this and it speaks directly to what I was feeling lost about earlier today. astounding.
It's taken a long time for me to stop seeing all these traits in myself as defects, and to see them instead as qualities that set me apart from the standard.
The hardest part is the loneliness. I have tried before to squish myself down into a box in order to be liked, and suceeded to some degree, but it felt so hollow and unsatisfying being accepted by others for something I know I am not.
Equally when I try to be my true self and talk from my truth / higher perspective, it is totally lost on most people and I end up alienating them. So either way it feels like a lose-lose, and thats the real kicker. It feels like Earth is not really my home and humanity is not really my species. I'm just a visitor here trying to make sense of it all.
Still, I realise now that it's more important that I am true to myself and can make myself happy rather than relying on other people for it. In recent times that has proven to be a big advantage. Being able to see the bigger picture, discern truth from false, being able to think for myself, has come into its own for me this last few years.
When deception, dishonesty, manipulation and insanity become as normalised as they are now, you start to realise it's actually not so bad not being "normal".

I couldn’t have said it better! I think I am connecting with a person and I find out I may as well as keep my mouth shut! People don’t listen, they just want to talk and be right. People are basically skimmers,; no one wants to talk about life or anything interesting like that.
I think I must be an old soul too. Always felt I never fit in. And feel lonely a lot too, even when in a room full of people. Not sure my purpose. Deep thinker, up to my head in the water, and surrounded by people who are happy to just be water bugs and skim across the top of the water. lol. Thank you for sharing, Ralph. I know I am an old soul. When I was a small child, I spoke at free will. My mother always resented me, in societal/cultural sense, I should not be speaking at all at that so young age unless I am told to speak. When I was a teenager, I can see right through adults' behavior/personality without ever having a conversation with them. Every job I get into, in no time, I am an expert at it and taking on a lead role, but it is never my priority of life. My priority has always been my spiritual well being...the truth. I am emotionally detached with people. Most rich people's behavior cramp my style, because I feel that there is better to life than just being rich. I am considered black sheep in the family. After I left home, my family very, very rarely see me. When I visit my family, it is like they just hit a lottery jackpot. I never feel the need for attachment. I am satisfied with my own company. No one ever accused me of not being enough, or being lonely. I have one weakness...I have a soft heart for the underdog.

Yes all rang true, I’ve often felt that I got dropped off here on planet earth and completely forgotten about. It’s difficult to resonate with others because they don’t quite get me but fortunately I’m very much on the spiritual path so I do get me 💜😍💜
I'm 76 and knew and often felt, from age 5 these things you've mentioned [ except for #3 at that age ]. I came from an abusive childhood and was the caregiver for my siblings between the age of 8. This responsibility that was thrust upon me at such a young age has, I believe, contributed to a life of anxiety and depression. I am happiest when I am doing something for someone that relieves their anxiety or depression. I became a nurse and also have rescued [ not hoarded ] many animals. I can intuit others' feelings and am sometimes drained by them. The very ones I cared for growing up have abandoned me. Since retiring, and having my children moving on with their busy lives, I spend many hours alone w my mini dachshund, Parker. This gives me a lot of time to reflect, pray and wait for me to go home. I've been told, more than once I am a lightworker and an old soul ... not sure if I believe it 100% but I have been ready to leave this place since I was five.
I’m in my 70’s- by Earth years, anyway. Had a near death experience in my 20’s that reminded me of where our real Home is. Chose to come back to raise children. Throughout my own childhood I never felt that I fit in here. All of my family and friends engaged in trivial pursuits as if those were important. And they hurt one another. My mission here is not the “norm,” which isolates me psychologically. It’s a huge challenge to be here enduring an extremely tough life, but the more difficult it is the greater the opportunity there is to learn. The lessons just keep getting deeper. I look forward to going Home and hope I have learned enough not to return here. Hang in there, Homies. You’ll make it and be better for having gone through this difficult adventure. ♥️
We were unable to have children. When I told a medium this, she told me that usually when this happens it means we don't have to come back to another life. I have no idea if this is true, but it's a nice thought to not have to return.
I too chose to come back because I wanted to be the one to raise my children. It was also God's desire that I do this. It ended up being very difficult as not only I had a devastating immune dysfunction - my two children came down with it too. For years we were all bedbound but I don't regret it for single minute for through our mutual suffering, we came to a deep bond that is there between us to this day and I thank God every single day for the richness of love and compassion that spread between and us and then out into the world for others.
Our home is connected to the cosmos/the all.
Thank you for being so clear. I do feel I have abilities of healing other creatures, especially animals. Sometimes it scares me. Not many people understand my different way of life. The animals that find their way to my home tend to reach extreme old age. And there's me, sometimes so tired of all the energy it takes. But it is also beautiful to see the happiness of living in my surrounding.

You've just described everything I feel I'm "suffering" from. I've been trying to break free for a long time and the closest description a counsellor once gave me was existential depression... unfortunately I've been given other labels by the mental health industry and trying to find appropriate professional support is getting more challenging.
You need to go within deep to find your soul and learn to listen to it. Trust yourself and stop trusting those who pushed Vaxx toxins, threatened our freedoms and demonized us with their filthy slander. Find yourself love!

Restricted or better blocked the artificial blue light. We only eat food that has photosynthesis in our place. Grounding barefoot to get the mitochondria free electrons naturally. DHA from fish. Νo carbohydrates. Avoid too much water because it contains Deuterium. Not too many fruit and vegetables because they contain deuterium and many poisons for our digestive system. Take the infrared light of the sun at dawn and sunset. Do not eat heavy foods after the Sun has set. Exercise only outside and not in gyms that are full EMF and blue light.

Same here. I think a good starting point for many of us is to work on any self- esteem issues so that we can be absolutely sure that we have self- love and strongly defended boundaries to avoid being exploited. Then reach out into the World and find others like us.

I have always thought that I was a very young soul. I never wanted to know worldly things. They have no interest for me. I want to live a simple life and I did that. However, people were drawn to me who needed help. It was such a joy to help someone and then watch them go on to grow on their own and become whole. In the end, my family and those I helped saw me as weak. Then, the only person who ever got to know me passed away on our kitchen floor on his birthday. I laid him there and I looked down into his blue eyes and I said, I love you. He mouthed, I love... and, he died with my hands on his chest. I went inside myself and since I don't drive, and because everyone in my family never came to me, I have been in the wilderness for 5 years. Me and the light. I didn't feel bitter. I just didn't recognize that even though I was in a silent home and my life is now lived in my mind, I was still growing and changing. I never forgot how to take care of people and that is what my heart desires. I have a memory of being somewhere else. I remember agreeing to come here. I was even shown when I chose the family I would be born into. I don't feel like I accomplished anything in my life. I don't feel like I belong anywhere. I don't look at life or situations like anyone else does. The only time I don't feel lonely is when I'm in nature. That's probably because, I'm communicating with every bit of it. I'm surprised I'm still here because, I've always suffered from severe depression. I always say, I want to go home. The spiritual world is more real to me than this world. This world doesn't make any sense. I have so much love in me to give and there's no one who wants it. I don't have any friends. I don't know what the future holds. Being on planet Earth IS your spiritual work. Old souls are not advanced souls. Instead they are likely slow learners in the earthly school of life. Christ was the first and fastest of humanity to achieve conscious enlightement and unity with Spirit/God through the reincarnation process. I accepted years ago that I am wired differently. No interest in social functions including family. Had to fake it. No interest in Alcohol etc. No interest in being girlie and all that includes. My children are very successful and happy.Worked full time and never wanted or needed a babysitter.Moved to the country when last child left home. I was an only child and always content on my own.

I've known I'm an Old Soul since I was 19; just knew it. Throughout my childhood my siblings told me how WRONG I was. I knew intuitively I wasn't wrong but no use arguing w/them since I was the youngest (& not suppose to know anything). There was a 20 yr. period where I was a business owner & earned the respect of others, yet not family. It's been a very difficult journey; the projection from family is teaching me to 'detach' & follow my path no matter what. Oh how I intend to Connect w/my tribe. Unity is a marvelous idea.

I don't recal the name, but there is a temple in India you might find very interesting, it has a design for that porpose. It has 3 stages, the external, the intermediate, and the center salon which is completely empty and is said to be very sound absent. The external part of the temple is highly decorated to represent the mundain, but as you go towards the center the decorations diminish until you reach the center. The soul seeks this place of retreat, but also to be in this world and experience all things.

Adding something to number three: It's not old wounds, I've walked through my shadows. It's small cuts in the present when I encounter someone who can't comprehend the message I bring to them. While rejecting the gift, ignorance also can make them lash out. It's amazing how hurtful embarrassment, suppressed fear and power issues can be when unleashed upon the messenger.
Also, ignorance can make someone dangerous without control. Being on the receiving end of a lot more ignorance than the average person can handle is not for the feint of heart.
Old souls have been through more and there by attract more and not just the fair and sunny.

Any therapist will tell you that the #1 thing EVERYONE says is that they feel different from others. Loneliness and separation is a natural human experience. But it sure is a lot more flattering to tell ourselves we're special and better as "an old soul" rather than to tell ourselves the truth, which is "I never developed social skills because of neuroticism, toxic shame, and an avoidant attachment style."
You can see the age in the hands and eyes. The way they move, thoughtful, careful and precise. You can see it when they are young children.

This was a very moving video i am Scottish and know without a doubt ive had lives in Elizabethan England, ancient Italy, Egypt..France and Ireland. I have been a High Priestess in England and Egypt, healer, Artisan...caligraphy in a Monastery.i have brought all of these gifts back today but it has been very, very, difficult living in todays world. I have been doing tremendous healing, a great awakening, has been happening, i had to not only heal a violent childhood, but also past lives ...( I understand completely about soul contracts) i am not from here my ancient ancestors, and star family are around me protecting me and sending me love and divine guidance..i try to pay attention to all signs in the universe giving important information. Totally resonates. Have 0 close friends, chronic pain, weird feeling that when I say something, there is no response in the room or my thoughts are put aside. I do need truth and understanding. Always being the only one who looks beyond his nose and actually gets the bigger picture, not understanding how other people cannot see it. The corona crisis was absolutely an eye opener for me in that regard; I am pretty much alone here. Or at least I don’t know a whole lot of people who question things everyone seems to be doing. I've always been shunned by people because of being an old soul. Ive also experienced memories and knowledge of places I've never been to in this lifetime. There again, I've met some truly new souls and had some fascinating conversations. I'm happy being on my own as I find being in crowds drains my energy, I've taken control now and feel much calmer, happier, and ready to guide where truely needed. Meditation is a big part of my life now.
