It was there that night, together with my best friend. It was a great gig and we saw them in Luleå the day after this as well. I actually have a bootleg dvd of this in my collection. Good times! :D
Tony Martin has always been a fantastic vocalist and very underrated!!! (The 4 albums with him from Eternal Idol to Cross Purposes were sensational albums) MY FAVORITE SABBATH ERA HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE DIO ERA AND THE TONY ERA!!! Of course I love the original Sabbath (Tony, Geezer, Ozzy & Bill) But I love even more the era of DIO and TONY MARTIN. Screw Ozzy's ass kissers!!! I will never change my opinion!
what a great vocalist TONY MARTIN is , songs Like THE SHINING, HEADLESS CROSS and WHEN DEATH CALLS are waaaaay better than many of the tracks SABBATH did with HUGHES, GILLAN or GUILLEN. here he sounds great not so raspy. IF you miss albums like TYR, HEADLESS CROSS or CROSS PURPOSES you are missing amazing jobs by IOMMI.

Pretty much all footage seen with Tony Martin, he definitely was Sabbath's 3rd ranked Singer! Never really saw any weak footage of him! There's footage of Ozzy and Dio not performing amazing, so it happens to the best of them! Overall, Tony Martin being able to perform many Ozzy & Dio era songs is quite an accomplishment! Cheers!

Kind of lost interest in Sabbath by the mid 80s, around the time Dio left, I guess. Never paid much attention to them after that. I'm not all that interested in the songwriting in their later years, a lot of it sounds cheesy to my ears. But I'll give Martin credit, he can sing his ass off. He goes from singing Dio stuff well with Neon Knights, and two songs later, he's nailing the Ozzy vocal tonality on The Wizard. Impressive range
Doe's Martin want to return after all disrespect for his talent he gave the Sabbath ? It would be like why there is nobody left. Thats the way I see it. THE WORLD IS full of kings and queens that blind your eyes and steel your dreams . I always will love the band and always think , did Tony Martin get a bad deal ?

hum... where are the drum fills during War Pigs? It's just not the same without them :( He obviously knows how to do them (nice drum solo after the song!) so I guess it was a personnal choice. Too bad, War Pigs is so much better with those drum fills before the chorus! What do you guys think?
