I saw him at the Granada, Sutton, UK, in 1968. My first concert, age 13. Id gone to see Amen Corner as they were my favourite group but a side act. I was completely bowled over by Gene Pitney. Incidently Status Quo was another side act.

Seen him in the Christchurch Town Hall N.Z.in late 70s.he was awesome. Didn't realize he was so short but what a powerful voice he had.was a fan of his before that but that concert really convinced me.
