I guess those people don't have a great idea of your style. Yes, your pieces look similar because your style has a certain type of abstract element. However, no two pieces are exactly the same.
By the way, I really like the piece you worked on in this video. It gives me some flora vibes to it. Not sure if that was what you were going for, but that is what I see this time around.

I freaking love the botanical vibes!!!!! I must say, I love your art style! I don't think people understand that all artists have a style. Saying "all your art looks the same" is, in all honesty, because non artistic people don't actually know anything about art.

Artistic change is a really weird thing to think about. It's super subconscious, and we'll probably never really understand it. It's not something we can control, no matter how much we THINK we wish we could. That's a lot of "we"s lol

Also thanks to you I now own a fountain pen, which I always hated before since I am a leftie, but now I am loving it since I found some ways to work around it. Art has become a vent for me to let out negative feelings, so I am constantly looking for ways to make it more fun and not necessarily better. So I hope you won't lose the fun in it either.

Peter, you're the man! As much as you may feel like you're doing the same thing, as a viewer of your videos, I can tell you that your style stretches over a large range of things. The piece in this video is no exception, what you did in this video is really very different from your normal "sit down with a piece of paper and a rotring and see what happens". It's very refreshing and inspiring for smaller channels. You are successful at being yourself and you make other people realise they can also be successful at being themselves. And I don’t feel bad about your art being called the same. Your style is just really distinctive, to the point that if your work was put up among other works that were abstract, I would instantly be able to point it out. And I think that’s amazing! I would say there’s plenty of variety too. So, just keep doing what you do, it’ll develop as the years go on and circumstances change. I find, at the grand old age of 70, that my style is changing again. I’m now doing much more pen and ink stuff, like I used to do as a teenager, but with a greater knowledge, more maturity and improved technology (we didn’t have Posca pens or Microns in my young days, just a dip pen and Quink ink which, I now know, is not archival).

Peter, this work is fantastic and it will continue to be as long as you enjoy making it.
With regard to certain people commenting that some works seem the same as previous works--this is just the natural result of you exposing your works publicly on the internet. In the days before the web, artists could not share so easily all of the work they poured into whatever style motivated them. I guarantee there were many sketches and paintings in the same vein before certain artists works were chosen to be focused on. Now, people are simply able to have a glimpse into the artists world that was previously not seen and many people just don't understand the creative process. Ignore the comments and suggestions as ultimately, you must create for yourself first if you want to feel truly content with what you create. You are a talented man!

you always help to ground me when I'm having doubts about my own work and I appreciate that. I think you touch on a lot of familiar and relatable things in this video such as picking apart your own work and putting your foot down with a specific style. I'm the opposite, I have too many styles I work in and people just keep saying "do what makes you happy" and I'm like "well...clients are always asking these crazy design choices of me" and stuff like that. out of all the people I've learned from I feel like subconsciously your messages are the most helpful. With that being said, I feel like I really like this new direction on wood. I mentioned it in another video, but it reminds me of when you were doing your wood burning vids. New canvas, great style. One final thought that just occurred to me; those lay-people that make comments like "oh great, more of the same" you know what? maybe they're right, maybe it does look the same. Nothing wrong with that though! It's style. No one watched Michael Jordan slam dunk and roll their eyes saying "oh great....there he goes putting the ball directly into the hoop". you know?

I really like this piece! I also like the two others you show at the end of the video, but I like the big one the most. The black background makes it pop more

Absolutely love your style especially this piece!! Your great!! Don’t change just because someone else is jealous of your ability.

also having the painting horizonal makes it feel more calm. while vertical makes it feel more dynamic and energetic. would be cool to adjust it to fit your mood.

These pieces are incredible!!! (and in terms of "style" I am always so impressed with how creative your art is while still looking like they should belong together! Definitely a positive thing.)
