G'day Chuck, Paige! I don't comment very often at all, but I do watch your channel very frequently. In fact, I don't think I've missed many of your videos at all. There was once a brief period (two or three videos) where Paige was the focal point and lead the dialogue. It's a pity she is so reserved as it would be nice to get her perspective on family life and the many topics that you already cover. Whichever which way, I enjoy watching and will continue to watch, especially as you visit Shukokai as I had a holiday booked and paid for when covid hit and I had to cancel everything. I still have not been refunded my flight costs, but the hotel refunded me 100% within days of me cancelling. Looking forward to travelling with you again; keep up the good work!

I have a few channels, this one has 39k and the other has 123k subscribers. Some good advice is to ask for the subscribers in the middle of the video right after you have given the viewer something of value. In the beginning if you ask to subscribe they often ignore it. Add a pinned comment with a subscriber link, watch youtube to see how to create it, and if they click the link they subscribe. As well as end screen subscriber links, and the same comment in the top of the video description. People that read to comments and video descriptions are more likely to interact and click the link than a casual viewer. I think youtube lets you add a subscriber link directly in the video, make it easy for them to click that when you are talking about it.

Hey Chuck enjoy your videos as always, I might be wrong and way out in left field but seems like your support was very strong during Covid lockdowns and during this time everyone was clued to the internet 🤷🏻♂️. But now that all is open and everyone is back to normal maybe free time is a thing of the past and isn’t so free anymore. For a personal experience my wife is on me constantly for trying to watch all my subscribers vids.

To draw in more viewers, maybe be more specific on issues like visa, healthcare, opening a bank account, what you can and cannot own in Thailand. Maybe show some apartments and houses with prices, the buying/rental process, additional fees etc.

Hmm. It would help if I knew more about how RUclips works. For example, does total minutes watched matter? Does percentage watched of a given video matter? Is there more credit given to someone sticking to the end of a longer video, than for a shorter one? (No, I'm not expecting answers! 😂 )
Here's why I ask...... When I first found your channel, I enjoyed them, but really didnt want to sit through 25-30-35-40 minutes of bike riding (at the time; and now golf) to hear THE OTHER STUFF you had to say!
One of my first reactions after watching a few was: "Gee, I wish these were only 15 or 20 minutes." Honestly, I just skipped a bunch of videos early on because, when I looked at the length on the thumbnail, I said to myself, "nuh uh, too long."
I've heard you comment before about people complaining about the length, so I know you're aware of the concern. But now you want to attract new subscribers. Its a new game! So maybe it's time to revisit the question?
Not knowing RUclips, I dont know if shorter videos are detrimental to your RUclips standing, and longer videos beneficial? All I know is..... in this twitter/snapchat world, shorter videos are more likely to capture new interest.... than longer ones!
So I suggest: Make some new, shorter, more focused videos. Videos more designed to grab people's attention with quick, useful information or shorter, more to the point stories.
You've got, what, 1,900 videos, now? That's a lot of resource! How about a "Special places we've visited!" video. A slide show, mostly, with captions and just a little voiceover. 15 minutes.
How about a "Tuk Tuks in Thailand" video, highlighting the differences, advantages, and disagvantages of different ones you taken yourself; ones you've seen that caught your eye, and...... of course...... your father-in-law's business making them! 15 minutes.
You've got such a huge resouce at your disposal, you could probably easily come up with 15 or 20 slideshow-type videos........ entertainment/information videos...... on varying topics.
("Hotels: Over ฿1,000, under ฿1,000." -------- "Popular Foreigner Spots Compared: Phuket, Hua Hin/Cha Am, Sukhumvit, Udon Thani, Chaing Mai." ---------- "Beaches We've Been To!" -------- And on and on! 15-16 minutes each.)
Looking at your library, I see that most of your videos are getting around 10k views. Virtually no videos less than a year old have as many as 25k views! (Looking at the "popular videos" list makes this research very easy! 😂 It shows how many; it shows how old.)
I know it may seem like you'd want to say, "I've done that already" for a lot of things. But virtually no one is going to go rummaging back through 1,900 videos to find them!
As they say, "Everything Old is New Again!" Try updating, revisiting, truncating, consolidating. Find a new spin for the old story! You've got this massive collection of jigsaw puzzle pieces, and...... remarkably enough...... lots of ways to fit them together to form new pictures!
That's it. That's my 2-cents worth. (2 cents being worth even less than 2 baht! 😂)

Now there are probably 3-4 months of burning season. Just for your consideration. In the South, not so much.
