At this rate KD's going to be track complete on Rapterra sooner than the Six Flags parks can get their shuttle coasters opened. Thank goodness the new management team is mostly Cedar Fair.

Why is a coaster that is designed for the summer to cool down not ready yet? The same thing kinda happened at Great Adventure where the ride that celebrates 50 years not ready for their 50th birthday? I hope the new company can resolve these issues as its kinda disappointing to see. I'm watching from the UK where all the new for 2024 rides have opened by today!

Seems like an industry wide problem. Both Seaworld family coasters were supposed to open in May and just opened, Drayton Manor and their family coaster. No idea what’s going on, can’t be supply chain issues cause track’s been on sight months ago, has to be a manpower issue or permitting issue.

Why everyone keep calling it a ride to cool down with? You don't get wet on it. It has similar effect as other roller coasters where water sprays out, nobody gets wet

Should be ready to ride around Xmas or New Years eve. Seems about right with this park.

I see GA Surfer opening sooner than Flash cuz they’ve made tons of progress by building up the station and constructing the pathway where as for Flash, they haven’t started on it. I’m guessing by late August, it’ll be open

Years ago I remeber when they built Goliath at SFOG. They had markers out in july the year before open and broke ground late August. Yet seems like new rides for the parks don't start until march of the same year of open. It's pretty bad, sad state of affairs with six flags. Unfortunately i don't think cedar fair will be able to fix all their problems.

I was there earlier this week and was pleased to see the progress. Still, a bummer that it is not ready to ride, but great things take time.

I agree. They need to start sooner for big projects.

They need to stop buying at IAAPA in 2023 for 2024 projects. That's why they are so far behind when opening new rides.

@kumbabgt5067 they need to start building early in the year and it will be completed by Summer

Wasn’t this a cancelled ride from somewhere else? Like Flash VV?

@@kmccurdy21 It was a canceled ride because it was supposed to go to Vietnam originally before those plans fell through. I believe there was an image showing the blue and orange supports a few months before OG started teasing it for it to get revealed at Coaster Fest
