he has no idea how much his books inspired and influenced me... the land of stories series was the first ever books i read as a kid that i enjoyed so much that i decided to start writing my own. i've already set my sights on becoming an author. thanks so much for bringing me joy in my writing :)
"The land of stories" is my favorite serious of all time. The books are so action-packed, so gripping and teach us so many valuable lessons. I would love Chris Colfer consider writing another series since I literally burst into tears when finsishd reading the final book cuz the ending was soooooooooo amazing:)

The Land of Stories is my ALL TIME favorite book series! They brought me so much joy and taught me so many good lessons that I have been able to take with me wherever I go. A huge thanks to Chris for being such an amazing author and writing such memorable and amazing books.
Chris Colfer is really amazing and he happens to be a major inspiration of mine ever since the Land of Stories was a part of my teenhood.
THis series, "the land of stories" is so fucking good. I lived on those books in my adolescence and it's phenomenal. It's not like other celebrity books, it's so clear how much chris put into it.
Chris Colfer is one of my favorite authors and I've actually met him at his book signing and the Q&A; he's such a nice guy and he inspired me to pursue writing my own stories.
I actually heard that not only that he got inspired to writing those books but when the producers & directors of Glee was writing these when they were off set or on a break during filming some of the producers/directors discovered his love of writing he got the chance to write an episode of Glee the episode of “Old Dogs” on season 5
Old Dogs New Tricks is a very Chris episode -- there are puppies and sweet elderly people, and Kurt flying.

It’s one of my favorite long reads with my students. I read The Wishing Spell to my third graders and they BEGGED for us to read The Enchantress Returns.
I will definitely be looking into reading his books in 2023. My trans wife and I are binge watching Glee (we are still in season 1) and today my wife looked up Chris and made a comment "that's awesome that the gay kid is gay in real life." I guess she felt a connection to someone in the LGBTQ community like herself.

@JordiLA his body definitely changed, he got more muscular in the arms, pecs shoulders and back, and dare I say sexier, but his beautiful face has barely changed at all in the last 10 yrs! Take away that stubble(but really don't, it's hot lol) and he's kurt season 5 and 6 all over again! Time has been very kind to chris,he could easily pass for a man in his early 20s instead of a man in his early 30s! I say that as someone whose had that beautiful man less than an inch from me, his skin is flawless!

@@Daisy-ok7jnnope wasn't canceled,just delayed. It was and still is planned as a movie from what chris last said. Tho he also said he'd be open to other ideas too. If it hadn't been for the fox merger screwing it all up, it would have been well underway and likely done and out by now.

So writing is actually not his main career?! That surprises me because the books he wrote are soooooooo fantastic! After finishing the second volume of The Land of Stories, nothing can stop me from eating the remaing ones. I finished three volumes within three months and now am reading the fourth book.

ive been a chris colfer for ten tears now I loved glee I love all my udols from the show especially the ones I lost I love them too chris is my favourite cause I support gay rights and I love how he you know gives the love and support to me chris is like a family member to me cause hes in the glee fam and the new ones came in like darren criss to me hes a Christmas angle he has a incredible voice back then I didn't want to distory his magical voice I love him that much but chris hes my number one favourite. Same here, though I didn't read the final 2 books until I recently rediscovered the series this year (along with a bunch of other fantasy series I liked during my teen years).
I also happened to read the prequel series called A Tale of Magic which I managed to get on Kindle.

He hasn't done any acting since glee. He really threw himself into writing and has 18 published books now. He's successful, he just pivoted.
