Good information, I purchased 2 LED shop lights that are 4 foot long for my indoor starts. 6500K and 5,000 Lumens they work great. Still a bit early to start seeds i'm in zone 6b. I will be starting peppers and tomatoes in another couple weeks. Thanks for sharing!
I may have missed it but question, how long do you leave the light on per 24 hours and 2) do you think i could do this in my Basement if it is stone floor and moist at times down there? I am late this year but i want to build something for next season. Great video. One more question now that it is April 24th how was the results Thanks. The amount of light will depend on what plants you have growing. For me I have mostly tomatoes and peppers growing and they need a good amount of light I usually give them 10 - 14 hours under the lights per day. You could definitely do it in your basement I would just recommend a fan on them hitting them with a light breeze for at least a couple hours a day, more if possible just to keep good air circulation going. And the starts are doing awesome!! I started them a little to early so they’re starting to outgrowing the red solo cups I transferred them into so I’m probably going to transplant them out into containers here in the next couple days so I can make room for some more stuff indoors. And thanks for your service man! That’s awesome I was a 19 delta and we were on humvees and brads.

Hi I found this video from a link on your Red Solo Cup Lettuce video where you answered what kind of lighting to use to grow lettuce inside. In this video you only mention "STARTING" plants. Is this also the lighting solution for GROWING lettuce inside? THX in advance! [LOVE the info!!!]
