I think I speak for all players when I say that nobody wants most of the map to be a wide open wasteland with not much to do or see like in GTA 5. GTA 4 was smaller than GTA 5 but it felt bigger because each part of the map's areas were filled in with NPCs and different things to see and do, and each location had a unique atmosphere that would make you want to visit just for the sake of visiting and feeling something different.
GTA 6’s map represents a full state, GTA 5 represented like 10% of a state, the difference in the amount of metropolitan areas is gonna be substantial.
Rdr2 was really dense in missions and random events, I expect to gta 6 be like that and even better. Gta5 was really stretchin the cababilitiy of ps3/x360.
I hope that the map size makes planes more enjoyable. The problem with planes and jets in GTA V is that they zoom around the map too fast. It’s actually the reason there are no planes in GTA IV, the map would’ve been too small. With GTA VI sort of bigger map, it will hopefully make aircraft much more enjoyable. Like the GTA San Andreas days.
I use pc to play gta , and i dont know how im gonna avoid gta vi videos when it first release for ps , its gonna be hard year untill they release it on pc 😪 , great video man !

Do you thinks the map will have another major cities ? Because on GTA 5 there is only Los Santos after everything is empty, the north of the map is useless so I wonder, you who know well, honestly think if there are several major cities?
2 major. Vice city (miami) and Port Gellhorn (Panama city+Tampa). then there will be atleast 2 smaller towns. Sundown (Key West) and ambrosia (some farming town). These are the confirmed ones, there might be more
Not only is this map looking to be HUGE but it'll have much less space taken up by unusable mountains. Climbing Chiliad was fun, but I'm tired of seeing open world games have maps that are mostly taken up by mountains with roads between them.
Yeah from the leaked gameplay you can see a big ass mountain in the distance in one of the clips. They will definitely be in the game, probably up north.

100% true It can be the same size of GTA 5 and feel much better just by being very alive in each part of the map.

all the parts we've seen, even in the more rural areas, are significantly more detailed than 5. And I believe that they've learned from their mistake

I don't think we've seen anything of the lake, we just know it exists and its general location from road signs.
The estimated size of the lake on the mapping project is roughly the same size as the Alamo Sea, so I don't think it'll be much bigger than that
