Speaking a little about the new 80’s Thundercats Complete Series repackaging release (2019). I literally realized it was a repackaging during filming this. Lolol. Enjoy !
Anychance you can tell me if this video is interlaced... like the ones they released a few years ago? The previous set had 24 discs. Wondering the quality.
I have this same exact DVD release of Thundercats The Complete Series from the 80's I watched every episode. I have 1 more disc to watch. Disc 3 of Season Two Volume Two.
I never got to check out the original release since they were always too expensive and I just didn’t feel like paying those eBay prices. so I can’t really comment on it. The menu is pretty basic to be honest. Nothing really special about it.
It probally wont be on bluray officially cause wb may not have the original master tapes. They are working from the broadcast tapes. As far as I know you need the original master tapes to restore it to Hd. So be happy you got what you got.
Most of these companies don't wanna spend money on doing 16:9 so they keep the aspect ratio as original and expect the TV viewer to stretch it out themselves with their TV settings.

If it’s on blue Ray that would mean less disks even if it’s not in HD.
