@@JuliaDoherty-j9z Aww, Thank you so much for your kind words! I love my running, and I am so glad you got something out of the video! What do you think? Should I go back and do it again? Unfinished business?
Thanks Kevin - training around the Appalachians sounds a good plan! Its all roads, but some long inclines in the second half to really test you! Good luck!
It wasnt consistent - I set off a bit fast and it was quite warm, so was struggling a bit at half-way. The hill at 14 miles then got in my head and it was run/walk from then. I think I was hoping for 10.30/mile pace...
The ultra started before us, so I dont know the first bit, but the marathon had a steep one at half way ( Linane?), then you guys go off and back tto the coast, which is fairly flat I think. The killer is the one at 4 miles from home - long, grinding hill - but then mostly downhill after that!
Congratulations on this awesome achievement and thanks for documenting this beautiful course!

Thanks feller! Feck the Maurice Mullins half looks a beast! I dont think I'm free that week, but if I am, it would be an amazing challenge!
5.20, great time on a tough course. Do you remember what pace that is per KM/ or mile??

@julianberry what are the aid stations like as I didn't see any in the video?
I'm signed up for this year's Ultra.
Sorry Dwane - I dont really remember. I took all my own food and just used them for water - of which there was plenty!
Nps, thanks for the video. Hopefully, we get similar weather 🫰
@@DwaneBrennan I went back through some of the raw footage, but didnt have any shots of the aid station tables! Sorry!
