He argues they had lots of unsold ones so just rebranded it as a new product. I bought it for 200 euros new in Germany because I really liked that I could plug both a microphone and guitar into it. And have a speaker that has power enough for a party outside. But yeah, because of those futures and the price, I am trying to disregard the fact that it's quite big and heavy which makes transporting much harder than anything portable (apparently the JBL Xtreme has the same watt power and it's only 2 kilos)
Higher wattage doesn’t mean always powerful, its all in the size of speaker itself like the woofer, radiators, sub or etc.. the xtreme has only like 2.7 inch cone full range and radiators while the Party Box 110, Encore and on the go essential has like doubled the size of xtreme which has 5.25 “ and its woofer in which the bass is good until maximum volume… xtreme on other hand the bass wont go higher after 70% all it has is good treble, and mids at 80-100%
Guys I enjoyed this speaker its sound is loud and clear. Also has a good bass! I enjoyed singing a long with my wife!! Its worth it the buy. And it includes a microphone with a charging cable. If you have a chance get it as soon as possible before black friday ends.
Battery really sucks on this thing and the old one had the same prob too and still bluetooth 4,2 in 2023? And no app support just like the old one that is a bummer
I would like to have 2 wireless micros, ip68 for everything, much more powerful and in max volume... Very clear sound (i dont know why reviewers do not test on the highest volume only... With the battey... It s like buying a Porsche car and reviewing only at a 20km/h speed and telling... Yes the Porsche is very quite.
There was no upgrade. The term essential meaning basic. Compared to the first version that comes with cusion pad on the rear side, the essential version dont have that, instead its pure plastic only. I don't think there is any changes in sound and functions either. Still not compatible with JBL APP

Or pwede din ibamg brand ng moc basta ma fully insert mo ang receiver sa mic slot. Kapag tiningnan mo kc ang top panel ng OTG Maraming pwedeng mag block pra ma insert mo ang wireless receiver ng microphone

Wattage doesn't mean anything. The encore has the same wattage as the xtreme but has 2-3x more bass
