- Because the last story of the year, 'Pickman's Model' has been going so well, I wanted to give you an end of the year treat that I did not have time to prepare for the end of the last video.
So, please enjoy me stuffing up my lines and trying to keep my cool in multiple, weird ways! Leave a comment and let me know about your most memorable experience watching 'The Black Dog Chronicles' this year.
Ahh yes, cars. *Twitch* After many an attempt at recording hindered by passing cars, I can only conclude that there are nefarious motorist-fiends out there who drive about seeking people recording narrations and then drive back and forth up their street to vex them. (No one can prove it's not true.)
Wittily done sir; tis a rare storyteller who can put their errors to such use. if I were to try something like this it would just be a long string of tactless swears, pock-marked by the occasional wheeze.
I can't remember what county you are in (I want to say Norfolk - but I am not sure?) but for a time I lived in the countryside of Kent. The lovely rural landscape was oft punctuated by the distant sound of explosions to keep birds off of the rape-seed crops, and the actual shot guns, when farmers became bored. That would have made story recording problematic, to be sure and perhaps I would have been less likely to diffuse my annoyance by being silly and more likely to grab a shot gun for myself. >:I
@@TheBlackDogChronicles All you just described sounds irksomely familiar. I do indeed live in Norfolk, and the green and pleasant land is often marred by shooting, bird scarers, idiots who leave their bags of dog-leavings dangling from trees (left for the dogs*** fairy, as my sister says) and many another annoyances. The latter I'll admit doesn't hinder recording much but it's a peeve that I need little excuse to rant about.

I love the way he makes a joke out of his mistakes.It's good that he doesn't take himself too seriously.
There is no one who takes me seriously, so it seems fair that I should follow suit. ;)

A self~dare ...I dared myself not to laugh ...I laughed...now I must go into the haunted house alone at midnight on a moonless night😱 or walk into the dark alley in the city ...I chose the haunted house😬

I have no doubt that many of the Outer Dark Ones have crawled into the madness of my frustrated incantations. Among them though are H. G. Wells' Martians (who I referenced by saying 'Ulla' at one point) Gog and Magog and that dread, blasphemous entity known as Billie Eilish.
There is some amusement to be had in the fact that a subscriber disliked this video so much that they unsubscribed.
We'll catch them, and tar and feather them before we mount them in the stocks. Meanwhile we can fund a crowd to throw festered stinky cheese at them.
That subscriber is not worth having in the first place then. They obviously take themselves too seriously and have a stick up their rear end.
