I still remember looking at that game informer magazine that had this in it everyday just hoping one day id be able to get a ps3 and play this game. Was one of the best days as a gamer i ever had when i was able to get both at the same time. Thanks dad
Growing up with the PS2 classics, I just had to grab this right at release. This opening track for the game practically screams welcome back to the R&C universe
Same for me I remember when I was in 2nd grade, my dad asked me if I had a good day, I said no because the kids used to bully me and he showed me the disc, I think I’ve beaten them game almost 500 times in challenge mode
@@JK-nj3bt that one always seemed a pretty middle of the road to me, the most memorable segments to me were the starfing tyrranoid gunships and the first halo jump in the series, its not the most spectacular enviromentally speaking though, its got the best starting weapon in the series so thats pretty swag
I absolutely love how you can hear elements of the original in this. A proper tribute, set in the same location but communicating that time has passed. I love it.
This game was the first game I’ve ever played when I was a kid and this track brings backs a lot of nostalgia this game has a very special place in my heart
This theme is ingrained in my mind since I couldn't afford the game when it first came out so I just played the demo for hours on end. I got out the map so many times...
@@Srikar-xi7mbso did i, especially when the 2:03 part came on and jumping on the pods… while there was chaos all around and you just look at the city being destroyed and knowing that you’re the only one that can save it
I always only had the demo version of this game and I played the same 30 minute segment of gameplay over and over and OVER again until I knew every nook and cranny of that demo, and this was the music that played almost the whole time. It's been a decade since I played it and I still remember it vividly.
It's crazy how after this we pretty much never see or hear about Solana ever again with a few exceptions (and the 2016 game.) But I guess they didn't do it as dirty as they did Bogon. I kinda wish we get a game where they revisit those galaxies that's not another reboot, it would be really interesting
A massive game that has all of the planets from all titles with collectibles scattered around all of them with a story that has you visiting many of them would be goated
The theme that marked the start of a new era for Ratchet & Clank. While I find the game to be mediocre, the music was still memorable and this theme definitely showed that this was the beginning of a new chapter for better or for worse depending on how you look at it.
@Evil Player You're* and if you give it a listen you can tell they added instruments and reworked the strings as well. So next time before you chime into a civilized discussion with adults, try not to make yourself look like a complete rude and ignorant fucking yokel.
@Evil Player Oh okay didn't know all that. I can see why you could be annoyed with people putting UYA on such a high pedistool. I for one enjoyed playing through all three original games. The multiplayer UYA offered at the time was just unmatched to anything else I was playing at the time and also maybe why it's so acclaimed.
David Bergeaud has to Return
Yeah
He made me a lot of good soundtracks. I miss the old days

Because it is a welcome back. First PS3 ratchet and clank release. "Welcome back, and this time, in HD!"
No matter how many times I come back to this, I'm always impressed at how good this is, man. I love Bergeaud's orchestral work.
I remember being stunned for a moment when watching the first cutscene for the first time because it looked so amazing. I also love this music.

This theme carries alot of nostalgia for me! I love it so much.
One of the best themes in VGM history. Almost sounds like something from one of the old Spider-Man movies.
Definitely. My favourite Ratchet and Clank game by far.
Doom Donuts Yeah and it's environments are much more memorable than any of the other PS3 Ratchet's in my opinion
Funny you say that, because Insomniac Games are making a Spider-Man game XD

If they just remaster the Future series for the PS5, I'd be a happy camper
