Pasta Salad (7 Layer Salad Inspired)

Pasta salad is a never-ending combo option salad that is delicious all the time. I love 7 layer salad, but I went with the flavors inspired by 7 layer salad for this version. Any pasta you want, peas, celery, cheese, bacon, green onion, and a creamy dressing. This is the Midwest, so everyone has their own version of 7 layer salad. My mom always did those ingredients with a Mayo dressing seasoned with Beau Monde and Onion Salt. Layered with lettuce, but we're just switching that out with pasta. Beau Monde is an elevated celery salt. It's so good and a seasoning we always have on hand. I believe the old church cookbook my mom follows uses a mix of miracle whip and mayo with a touch of sugar, giving the dressing a slight sweetness. I don't prefer that way, so I went more savory, a splash of vinegar, and I used mayo with plain Greek yogurt. Only because I needed to use up some Greek yogurt in my fridge, and it's so easy to use in any creamy dressing.
1 lb Pasta
1 (8oz) block cheddar cheese
2 celery stalks, diced
2 green onions, chopped
5-6 strips of bacon, cooked and chopped
1 (10-12 oz) package of frozen peas
Dressing:
1/2 cup mayo
1/2 cup miracle whip (if you like sweetness) or sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoom vinegar (optional but I like vinegar and a pretty heavy tablespoon)
1 teaspoon beau monde seasoning
1 teaspoon onion salt
