    If the World Championship had made it to tiebreaks, Gukesh probably wouldn't be WC! Somehow I think it will be a while before Gukesh's blitz rating gets 2700+. It's a different way of thinking. He's a calculation master, but doesn't have the intuition yet.

      @@Humanbeing01You play moves on what you “feel” is right by following some sort of a logical thought process rather than going off by calculating thoroughly line by line and evaluating those positions afterwards. Some chess GMs dont see a lot of moves ahead but their strategic understanding of the game is so superior that they dont find the need to calculate many deep combinations.

    The best things are:
    1.) Gukesh is already the World Champion
    2.) Pragg is back in form
    3.) Arjun also made a great great comeback by defeating top 2 players of the tournament and has gained confidence and seems to be in a good form now
    Overall it is a win for Indian Chess ❤️🇮🇳

    It was epic watching Pragg and Gukesh battle it out in Blitz sudden death type games after a nice long tournament of Classic Chess . It was a tough ending since I’m a Gukesh fan but not totally unexpected could’ve went either way . Great tournament from all the players .

    As an Indian, I feel nothing short of proud to see these guys perform well in this tournament.
    Arjun had the worst possible start but he got his mojo back in the end in befitting fashion.
    Gukesh was dominating the whole way through very well
    Pragg was chipping away and shook up the comp twice by beating Fabi and Gukesh to win it all, happy to see him get a title after being in the shadow of Guki for a while.

    Hi, would just like to say, I am a sub on chessly, was stuck between 1000 - 1200 for a while, done a few opening courses but the tatics masterclass is what has really helped me, spoted a tactic (which was probably hanging for a few turns) and took full advantage of it. Guy called me a stockfish cheater. . . (Good avertisment to be called a stockfish cheater after taking your courses)

    Those who followed the tournament know that Hari vs Nodirbek was also a very important game, because Hari defended beautifully to make sure Indian 🇮🇳 wins the tournament.. It was a crazy game !!! Nodirbek in tiebreaks would've been a nightmare for both Pragg & Gukesh..
