that reminds me of something i once was playing lethal company with my friends on dine on the mineshaft interior, and whilst i was dropping loot in the elevator a jester spawned and pushed me into the elevator, trapping me in, as it started to wind itself up but i managed to reach the button and press it, but i then jumped and got shoved down into the caves below the elevator a few minutes later i found the fire exit, and the jester couldnt come down to get me because of it being sent up bro im so lucky
@@iElucian You can do this but you have to get on the very very edge of the elevator pit to be able to drop them in there, but with some practice it's really easy.
@@iElucianyou can also stick it in the wall outside most entrances by getting into a corner, looking up into it, and having the maneater transform in your hands, it gets stuck in the wall
You can drop the maneater down the elevator shaft by standing next to the pit instead of crouching, that seems to work best for me, and yes this works in v62. V62 seemed to just fix the crouching strat. You can also trap the maneater on the Mansion tile in the Main room. Simply jump on the railing opposite the side of the staircase and jump up away from the center pillars. When you drop him, he paths onto a surface above Main there, similar to the apparatus trap.
that's awesome! Thanks for the added info, I assumed zeekerss fixed the elevator shaft by his patch notes, but I'll check it out. I also tried the Mansion trick a few times before uploading the video, I just wasn't able to get it myself but I was probably not doing it perfectly.
You can also trap it on the circular tables in the mansion interiors, and in some exteriors (if really careful) you can get it stuck in walls as well but those locations are specific and you have to be quick. But you can also lock it behind the security doors if they're dead ends. I love this lil dude though I'll take the risk of caring for it :)

"If you dodge the intitial lunge" I've yet to see anyone do this successfully, the maneater seems to be able to do razor sharp turns while lunging even around corners

I assume the trick is to be at a corner so you can exit Line of Sight with very little movement
