So I know this isn't what you're expecting, but I published this just to show you something quietly personal. I made this May 21, 2020 when my newborn daughter had finally fallen asleep next to me. I wanted to make something that was more like the first AMV I ever made. I remember opening some bunk simple editing program way back when with a handful of random anime clips I found on the internet, slapped a song I loved on the timeline and then just threw those clips at it and hit play. Lol the video was pure garbage because there was almost no editing (like this one), but I can't begin to express how deeply I was moved by it. You'd have to wait like 2 whole minutes, but then I'd see something click with the music by pure luck and it made my teenage heart knock against my ribs. I kinda knew then I would always love making AMVs.
To be totally honest I work really hard on these things just hoping that after making 100 of these, I have a chance inspiring just a few people to open up some random free program and start making cool AMV themselves. Haha, I don't even know you but I do deeply care about you, which is why I respond to like 99% of years' worth of comments :).
Let me just spell out what I like about this video though, because I know that watching a crazy raw AMV like this can be super lame if you didn't make it yourself:
0:16 the muted explosive sound in the music matches the first firework
0:33 the off-sync dragging against the music makes the moments going by more meaningful
0:49 the change in music phrasing the second the two are alone, with the strings coming in, plays on an invisible tension there.
1:00-:04 slow melting of the heart as the piano walks higher
1:16 how the trill matches the intention of the hand gesture
1:49 warm piano just deepening the sweeping peace
2:07 subtlest but tightest sync to the hand gesture
SO consider taking 10 minutes to grab some random clips, a song you're into, and slap it into whatever free BS software you have right now. You might not regret it ;)

Reading the description made me tear up. I'm not one who particularly likes children, but the way you described being next to your daughter made me feel emotional. Sounds like this video was an outlet of sorts. Even if there's no editing, I definitely feel the heart you put into it. I've been subbed for a little over a year now and you never cease to amaze me Doppel. This is why I stay subbed. Things like this. Not just for the amazing edits, but the sheer emotion and time you put into these. As always, I await your next video.

I don’t stop by to comment often but I love your work and it really has inspired me, I’m a junior in high school but I hope once the stress of school and college applications are done I can start making amvs or messing around with the idea now. Not to shift the focus to me but I can really tell the passion you put into your works and it’s inspiring. Can’t wait to see what you continue to make!

This was such a lovely AMV and I really liked your message in the description a lot! I just wanted to comment and let you know that you were definitely an inspiration to me. Your AMVs are so beautiful and full of emotion! I've started making AMVs of my own and a friend encouraged me to post them to RUclips :) They're nothing special, and not that good, but I really enjoy making them and it always makes my day when someone kind leaves me a comment to say they enjoyed what I made. I'm always looking to improve and try new things, and I enjoy watching other AMVs like yours for inspiration :D

Interesting idea to make an AMV in a style like you would've edited years ago. I like the simplicity of it, yet it feels like that at the same time it's not a beginners work so well done. I'm not sure if the "audiojungle" was on purpose, in case if yes, nice touch, in case if no, i'm interested why. :D Nice video!! :3
Lmaoooo the audiojungle part isn’t purposeful. I was thinking about maybe doing a video to a piano solo last year and just had this around for testing. Haha this is some real noob shiz, VH!
