It’s so real to see creators go through mental struggles as well. Being someone who suffers with severe anxiety, OCD, and ADD, I want to try and being awareness to others and help others going through the same. Definitely sending prayers to both of you individually and to little Jerry ❤️

Matt is a such a great father and person in general. It made me feel better knowing content creators suffer from depression too. Not to say that it’s a good thing- but it’s halted knowing we all go through it no matter what your life is like. Matt we appreciate everything you do, thank you.

Wow! I didn’t know that you both were going through a lot of things! I’m glad you both were open and able to share about it. I can relate to both of you with panic and anxiety attacks as well as depression and acid reflux 😪 I’m getting therapy help. I love this comment, Paige. I agree. I think it’s a bit of a negative trend in Christian manhood ideals. Men just need to be aware of the importance of goodness and integrity and responsibility. Women don’t need to be led. We are just as responsible human beings as men, who also need to be in integrity and focused on our own growth and healing etc.

You are NEVER alone! Idk why mental health gets swept under the rug still. I suffer from anxiety/depression and the second they touched on the subject it was very comforting because knowing that even these 2 struggle.. they're so happy all the time, theyre the perfect couple, beautiful baby, great families.. but even then, they deal with mental issues too. It was very real and brave of them to mention

Loved this video, especially wedding and baby pics! I really admire how y'all are able to open up to us viewers while also maintaining some privacy. On a different note, I have never been a religious person, but I have seen what the power of prayer has done for your family on multiple occasions, and that has been significant in my own spiritual journey.

The Hebrew word for “humility” in the Bible translates to “lowly, depressed.” It’s not self deprecation like they do in many religious organizations. You’re on that path my brother! When I struggled with it, in my prayers I received the word “credence”. I didn’t know what that meant. That is the word that helped me free from my depression. Best of luck!

I was just telling my husband the other day I feel like I'm subtly slipping into a depression. It has taken a couple weeks to realize. Try and get some fresh air it helps tremendously!

Props to you love for communicating that! Communication is HARD for me in those times, I just want alone time. Fresh air absolutely helps, I’ve been waking for an hour in the morning and it feels so good. Being creative and doing art helps me too. Remember the negatives are just as human and normal as the positives. Sending lots of love to you and your journey

So I too have acid reflux which formed while I was pregnant with my son. They also say that if you have this during your pregnancy that means that your child will be born with a head full of hair which he was. But my doctor said that what causes acid reflux is fried foods and hot foods. Prayers for you both, your health, wealth, and spirituality.

I think one of the heaviest parts of it is feeling so isolated, but hearing that others understand what it’s like does help me feel less alone.
