Everytime I watch spider man the animated series and hear hobgoblin speak. All I hear is joker from batman the animated series lol. Mark Hamil is the shizznit
I've recently got my hands on the Toy Biz Hobgoblin and I must say best Hobgoblin, hands down. IMO better than the Space Venom wave Hobgoblin. Glider is better and portrait is way more early comic/cartoon accurate. So happy with it. I also think the Toy Biz Green Goblin is the best one out there as well. They just both look more goblinish 😄 if that's a word.
Yessss Toybiz Hobgoblin is the best! Toybiz Green Goblin has great sculpt too, such a waste he's really short compared to current Marvel Legends (heck he's also short compared to other Toybiz ML lol). But his height is not so obvious when he's on the glider lol.
Couldn't agree more! I just picked up the toybiz hobgoblin on ebay too a couple weeks ago and l was planning to take the head sculpt and cape and put it on the space venoms body when l bought it but when l got it l just loved the complete look!

The feet aren't what makes it difficult for him to ride his glider. Its the slots. Their way to small. And if they wanted to further balance it they should've added peg holes to the glider so he would stay on his glider. The glider is the only issue for me. But other than that I really like it!
Dude. I 100% agree with you. The toy biz hobgoblin is the best hobgoblin! The space knight venom build a figure waves hobgoblin coming in a close second. The retro. In last. (As it pains me to say) though the Marvel legends does one thing better than the toybiz though. And that's it doesn't have the pumpkin glued to his hand. But other than that its perfect!
2:27 Shoulders are flipped. This has been a problem with recent figures that use the Bucky-Cap shoulders, and it looks like the new Sleepwalker figure will have this error. I wish they would fix this. Also, your Bucky-Cap's upper boots/calves are turned around.
Oh didn't realize about the issue of the shoulders being swapped the other side. Not really much of a problem to me. And the calf is the right way to the front for both. Yeah the hinge joint is exposed a lot more for the right ankle lol. It's a consistent thing as I have another retro Hobgoblin and it's the same
@@orinanime If Hobby has the same torso as the Demogoblin BAF and the arms have the BAF style pegs, you should be able to remove the arms and swap them. Then the rest of the arms would just need to be heated, popped, and swapped and voila. But for the other figures, you'd probably have to crack the torso.
The BAF is Phil Urich, different person and different appearance.. The Space venom is more to his classic appearance just like Toybiz, but both are hard to find. I guess this Retro Hobgoblin will have to do for thos who missed all of the previous releases
You mean put retro head on toybiz body? Maybe will need some sticky tack to make it stay in place. I didn't try it though, so don't know how it would look like
@@Stillfigurineout Im quite big collector myself, i have around 120 ML figs, spiderverse oriented mostly plus some support characters like fantastic four or logan, but i wont cross that absurd line where a single rare ML cost more than Mafex.

Terrible. Paint looks cheap. I’ll take the superior Space Venom version. Many RUclipsrs and cheapskates will hype this up because they can’t get the space venom version.

Definitely the cheapest-looking figure in the wave, but as a new collector and huge fan of the animated series, I'm still excited to get it.

In my opinión this is the worst figura of this Wave.

I don't think any reviewer would hype this figure up lol. But it is an alternative, because the space venom is too expensive now.
