I was in South Vietnam 1968 and 1969 I was in I corps part of the time I was stationed at Con Thein. This was a very difficult assignment I was drafted and didn't volunteer to go to South Vietnam. This war in South Vietnam was mismanaged by LBJ he micro managed the bombing missions rarely bombed military targets instead bombed bridges roads ect. The bombing should have been military supplies while these supplies were in the cities of North Vietnam before the supplies were taken into South Vietnam by way of roads and trails. Time and again we destroyed the enemy in battle after battle in South Vietnam but the ineffective bombing of North Vietnam allowed the enemy to resupply. The bombing missions should have been conducted in the manner as the bombing missions during world war two. As for the women that are featured in this video they were always welcome they were from back home (as we would say) from back in the "states".
I was in nha Trang in 1969-70. When the women attended it was very nice. I thank all who volunteered.
I was on fsb Flashner in 1970 when the Donut Dollies visted us.They should be honored along with the nurses with a statute
at the Vietnam Memorial.

I was a jarhead at pleiku and an khe in 66 & 67. Martha Raye came over at Christmas of 66. Ann Margaret was with her. HOLY CRAP. Nuff said.

The war was always fought with the rule to avoid bringing in China or Russia
