Very insightful questions. Never have I heard them talk in depth about their thoughts on being an idol and the profession that they're in. I hope more interviews have this much depth. They seem very relaxed and had enough time to really think about their answer too.

STRATEGY really is the album where you can feel that it's the members' output that are majorly in play. From the tracks, to the concept, and down to the choreography of the title performance - IT'S TWICE. It's their brain-child. As a ONCE, I'm fully proud of this album.

All of them can speak some Thai, some better than others. They've performed in Mexico, France, Switzerland and learned some of the language everywhere they went. Several of their songs are entirely in English and they've done English language interviews before. The simple fact is that for clear answers to tough questions it's better to answer in Korean

I've known of Zach Sang since back when he was interviewing Victorious cast members. I also saw a few K-Pop artists eventually have interviews with him so since then I always wanted TWICE to appear on his show. He always asks a lot of genuine and thoughtful questions which is why I appreciate his interview style. 💜

Zach is definitely one of my favorite interviewers, especially for K-pop/J-pop groups. He always asks deep, meaningful questions, appears to be interested to learn more about his guests, never condescending or ignoring the non-English speaking members of a group like some Western interviewers. To understand what Twice means to its fans, you have to know that when we listen to their music or watch their content, we go to a higher state of happiness, if we are sad we become happy and if we are happy we become euphoric.

I love that the questions were asked and that they were able to answer a little more deeper than what were used to hearing in American interviews (i.e. fav foods, areas that they’ve been to do, etc) I hope they start to do more stuff like this in the future whenever they come to the US, even if it’s not for a comeback (possibly before their tour 👀) and i think its ok that their english isn’t that great, that’s what makes them charming because they’re always trying to communicate with us no matter what. Interviews like these always bring out the eloquence in each of them. And even with the language barrier, as they said, some translation does not completely equate what they wanted to express but the essence of it can be felt. I've always been a fan of this show, coz you can really tell that the questions are prepared and picked meticulously. This is such a treat for this era, hopefully soon with upcoming comebacks the girls would visit again, and make this an annual thing. Coz this is really a good way to show more of them as artists.

Each of them carry the group, mate. That's the essence of Twice. Unlike other groups, losing one member is like losing the whole group. When one of them absent you really feel something big is missing. JYP really understand this, that's why they keep pushing this narrative. And Once, I think, beginning to understand this. I've seen less and less individual stan now in the fandom, which is a good thing. Jihyo's job, as the leader, is to keep the balance within the group. Twice is a very diverse group and it's not an easy job. She is often credited in the industry as the best leader in kpop. But let's not forget that although very different in all kind of aspects, each Twice members have the same goals in mind: to keep the group intact for as long as possible because they believe Twice is the way to reach their dreams.
Everyone has been carrying the group. Why are you talking like she is a outside member who is handling the team? It's like you are ignoring everyone's hardwork.

My favorite TWICE interview so far 🙌. Zach is a really chill guy, but like asking these really important questions so that the members can comfortably reply. I loved the fact that how Jihyo was speaking her true feelings about her challenges in her career, it was such sentimental moment (worth being an article). If you ever gonna ask Twice for an interview, i suggest you take this episode as a best example .
Songs written by Jihyo are very addicting, like she has a song for every mood... Valentine-vibe/romantic (First time & Wishing on you), Sentimental (Cactus & Room), Rage (Get loud), Hyping (Closer & Ho!), Dark/rock (Nightmare)... the list goes on - It's like she wrote in glittering pen ✨✨✨ all are a master piece 🤌

Dude this interview is great. You really rizzed and relaxed TWICE into one of the most in depth interviews I've ever seen regarding their growth and art. Major props. I never liked Kpop until a few years ago. TWICE really does have an infectious positive energy and you can definitely feel it. It's inspiring and beautiful. If their jobs are to spread positivity into the world they definitely succeeded. I would love to see them perform or meet them someday. TWICE you are amazing!
I've never been a big fan of K-Pop. The first songs I paid attention to were Gee from Girls Generation and Sorry Sorry from Super Junior. The songs were fun and catchy, but overall too "industrial" for my taste. That's maybe why I've always preferred JYP's songs, even from old days (such as Good Girl, Bad Girl or Nobody), because he genuinely loves and wants to share enjoyable music. Back to Twice. Since Like Ooh Ahh! I've started getting interested in them, though I didn't know what was different from before. But the reasons were probably because I really like the song (will forever be one of my favorites) and the MV already showed their personality. Their inner and outer beauty is truly One in a Million. And strangely enough their songs also bring their genuine energy out. It's really crazy that no song of them feels inadequate or fake. When I hear their songs for the first time, even if the vibe or style is completely different from before, I would always think it suited them so well! BTW, that's also why I don't enjoy much angry girl crush concepts from other groups, the only song of this category I don't get bored with is Soyeon's Nxde. Life is hard enough, I much prefer fun positive music and entertainment. And Twice is feeling this need pretty well~ P.S.: IMHO, Twice members are the true repesentations of Idols, role models in their character, their values and their hard work. Even if they said that in the past, they couldn't express themselves fully, we have always been able to witness their true personalities from the beginning! 😅😅
I feel that the interviewer started with an air of ' young excited kpop idols ' in his mind...but as the convo progresses he find out that these are more professional ladies who has more deeper thoughts about their jobs than the cutesy happy vibe they show....I felt his demeanor slightly changed after that
I just want to say that I don't care about them knowing English better, I just hope they are enjoying themselves, taking care of their health and are happy. We'll be there as long they happily want to continue. They're living legends.

watching this interview and hearing a lot of the things the girls had to say made me that much more proud of twice. they’ve all grown immensely and have never disappointed fans when it comes to how hard they work and try to put out new things for us to enjoy. i was glad to hear the parts of being an idol/person that twice thought have changed the most over the years, and i’m glad the girls developed more healthy mindsets regarding being idols. especially mina, who is my ult, i’m very happy to hear she’s finally realized that the only thing onces wish for is for her to do the things that make her happy and bring her satisfaction. thank you for this interview and thank you twice for being such amazing women. 👏🏽❤️

He responsive and give each member a chance to talk. He’s had other Kpop groups and idols on the show and they’ve all been good! Save for the one online interview w/ gidle. But everything else has been good!

My favorite TWICE interview so far 🙌. Zach is a really chill guy, but like asking these really important questions so that the members can comfortably reply. I loved the fact that how Jihyo was speaking her true feelings about her challenges in her career, it was such sentimental moment (worth being an article). If you ever gonna ask Twice for an interview, i suggest you take this episode as a best example .

One of the best interviews I have seen so far. Well thought questions and answers. Helps that they are not so shy anymore and how they seem to be a bit free from the idol pressure of being “like an idol should be…” More authentic. And Dude! The way you interview nails it!

I loved how this interview had so much depth. The members shared a lot and even showed a bit of vulnerability. Even though Zach didn't know all their names at the time, he conducted the interview in a way that everyone could appreciate. Some of the topics were new to us fans, which was a nice surprise. turning a decade in the kpop realm, still consistently churning out hits and breaking personal records every year, the original member line-up being intact and closer than ever...Twice really is a magnificent anomaly. ONCEs are so blessed to stan these girls.
Dude this interview is great. You really rizzed and relaxed TWICE into one of the most in depth interviews I've ever seen regarding their growth and art. Major props. I never liked Kpop until a few years ago. TWICE really does have an infectious positive energy and you can definitely feel it. It's inspiring and beautiful. If their jobs are to spread positivity into the world they definitely succeeded. I would love to see them perform or meet them someday. TWICE you are amazing!
I've never been a big fan of K-Pop. The first songs I paid attention to were Gee from Girls Generation and Sorry Sorry from Super Junior. The songs were fun and catchy, but overall too "industrial" for my taste.
That's maybe why I've always preferred JYP's songs, even from old days (such as Good Girl, Bad Girl or Nobody), because he genuinely loves and wants to share enjoyable music.
Back to Twice. Since Like Ooh Ahh! I've started getting interested in them, though I didn't know what was different from before. But the reasons were probably because I really like the song (will forever be one of my favorites) and the MV already showed their personality. Their inner and outer beauty is truly One in a Million. And strangely enough their songs also bring their genuine energy out. It's really crazy that no song of them feels inadequate or fake. When I hear their songs for the first time, even if the vibe or style is completely different from before, I would always think it suited them so well!
BTW, that's also why I don't enjoy much angry girl crush concepts from other groups, the only song of this category I don't get bored with is Soyeon's Nxde.
Life is hard enough, I much prefer fun positive music and entertainment. And Twice is feeling this need pretty well~
P.S.: IMHO, Twice members are the true repesentations of Idols, role models in their character, their values and their hard work. Even if they said that in the past, they couldn't express themselves fully, we have always been able to witness their true personalities from the beginning! 😅😅
I feel that the interviewer started with an air of ' young excited kpop idols ' in his mind...but as the convo progresses he find out that these are more professional ladies who has more deeper thoughts about their jobs than the cutesy happy vibe they show....I felt his demeanor slightly changed after that

I just want to say that I don't care about them knowing English better, I just hope they are enjoying themselves, taking care of their health and are happy. We'll be there as long they happily want to continue. And if any TWICE member reads this, take a break, explore other things you enjoy, go travel, act, do exciting sports, eat good food, read, write, hike, sky dive, stare at the stars, moon, ocean, mountains, have new experiences, fall in love, fall out of love, live like a free bird with no limits....take a break and grow yourself if that's what you want girls, do what your heart wants....We love you all, we want you to enjoy your hard work and success....you don't need to work round the clock for that....we're not going anywhere, we'll always be there for you ❤❤❤

Ive been following twice for a long time and have loved songs from every era of theirs but this feels the most well rounded and refreshing. I feel like I actually know them all more? Im rooting for them more. Even the subunits like MISAMO, Im heavily in love and invested. No wonder IU said they've had an amazing decade of a career and keep coming back with and incredible work. They're living legends.
I think the best example of flow state is a concert pianist.
Zach you got many new subscribers not because you interviewed Twice but the way you interviewed them. You gone through each member and showed the matured side of Twice. Kudos to you and also to Twice for showing how can a good teamwork will take you to higher. New groups need to take notes from this interview.❤

love this interview so much, it's so great to hear some of the answers that they members were showing, but the thing that stood out to me the most, is just how much more confident the group is together and how their individual success also drives the group and how positive they all are and help each other to lift each other to new heights, its crazy hearing this because its TWICE they have been doing this for over 9 years and to be honest it looks like they are getting their second wind and striving for even bigger and better when they already are on top of everything...love this love Twice will be here with you Queens forever xoxo ONCE

The love I have for Twice just grows even more especially now that they always express themselves and be open to what they want to do for us Onces. It's not like a company giving us content for their business but Twice themselves gives them to us as gifts bounded by their love. I am always proud of being their fan ever since I knew them, they don't do these for fame or any superficial reasons, they do these because of love, friendship, and their dreams. watching this interview and hearing a lot of the things the girls had to say made me that much more proud of twice. they’ve all grown immensely and have never disappointed fans when it comes to how hard they work and try to put out new things for us to enjoy. i was glad to hear the parts of being an idol/person that twice thought have changed the most over the years, and i’m glad the girls developed more healthy mindsets regarding being idols. especially mina, who is my ult, i’m very happy to hear she’s finally realized that the only thing onces wish for is for her to do the things that make her happy and bring her satisfaction. thank you for this interview and thank you twice for being such amazing women. 👏🏽❤️

Another awesome, insightful interview! IMO. Thank you for having them! Once’s new to Zach and the show, you can see how great of a host he is! The questions he asks aren’t cookie cutter. He responsive and give each member a chance to talk. He’s had other Kpop groups and idols on the show and they’ve all been good! Save for the one online interview w/ gidle. But everything else has been good!
