I really like the shampoo. It came out during the Summer. I got Into the Night shampoo & conditioner and it made my hair really soft and I couldn’t stop smelling my hair. The scent lasted for a a long time. I only wash my hair once a week and the scent lasted until my next shampoo.
My nose picks up Strawberry Snowflakes and Strawberry Pound Cake as two very different scents. While SPC is more gourmand and way sweeter, very much like a baked good, SS is more perfumey, softer, airier, and more like a natural fruit type of sweet rather than a baked good type of sweet.
I absolutely love Strawberry Snowflakes! Personally I don't think it smells like Strawberry Poundcake at all. Just goes to show how subjective scents are. Luminous...it just smells like a grandma. I purchased he travel perfume and I don't feel the need for more.

Ulta and BBW are next door to each other in my area. I went to Ulta and sprayed Valentino Donna Born In Roma Intense on myself and Vanilla Bean Noel too. Crazy but I was more impressed with the longevity of VBN

I really like the jolly Gingerbread village! I got the full set on the sale. I do get gourmand with a perfumey bite in the background. So good! I have like 7 you're the one mists from last year bc I was afraid they would change it lol so I'm good on that. Also got dark kiss full set and it smells so good! I like Luminous too. The Shimmer Fizz is amazing, I was almost out of my Vanilla Bean Noel one so I was super happy they had it again this year. I bought three! The body butter is also really good, I highly recommend it. I was also really impressed with this years Strawberry Snowflakes, it’s better than last years. My daughter loves it too. I’ve been layering it with my Kilian’s Love Don’t Be Shy. One scent I thought I wouldn’t care for is Jilly Gingerbread Village, especially after seeing everyone’s reviews but I surprisingly really like it. I agree with the criticism about it not smelling like a gingerbread village, it’s definitely not what the name would have you believe but I like it. I’ve been layering it with my Kilian’s Angel’s Share. The nice fall weather has clearly made me want to break out my Kilian’s.
Yes, VBN is pretty good this year....I managed to get a body butter in it at the sale, and a mist in Winterberry Wonder, which I'd never had before.....love them both! Would have loved to get more but I've got a closet full of BBW stuff....no room!
I love the idea of using a conditioner with those scents. AFTER a really good conditioner. That way it’s not about the quality of the products, you’re just doing a rinse of fragrance basically haha.
I have used the shampoo Into the night, and my hair hasn't fallen out LOL. I bought 2 Into the Night and 2 At the Beach several months ago. I did buy the conditioner At the Beach during the total body care sale, but haven't used it yet.
I actually bought the Twisted Peppermint body wash because I ran out a year ago and I didn't even know that they had $1 sale for the hand santizer pocketbac that day until one of the workers told me so I actually bought 5 of them for a dollar each. So I saved a lot of money. But I am definitely coming back for the Bright Christmas Morning body spray by December since Christmas is on December month.
I was excited about the vanilla bean noel this year because it was seeming to be different. I got two vanilla bean Noel whipped body butters at the sale. I used it after my shower and unfortunately it still has that musty stinky feet smell after applying the body butter. Maybe the fragrance mist is better?

all of the gourmand-y scents last year smelled like cocoa butter at first. I HAAATED it. I don’t think they used cocoa butter in their products this year. I love snowflakes and cashemere, and last year it had that cocoa butter smell, but this year it doesn’t.

Yes Ksenja Mahogany teakwood is a classic scent and I LOVE IT, it is definitely an OG and that is my Favorite scent for men there. I picked that scent up for a friend of mine and he loves it too.
I used the shampoo and conditioner and I did not like the he formula. It made my hair really frizzy. The scent also was not as strong in the shower and kind of went away after I lathered the scent in my hair and it did not last after the shower either. I will be returning both.

If you use the bath and body works shampoo and conditioner follow up with a heavy duty leave in conditioner or else you hair will feel like a hay bale. For me the scent wasn’t worth the tangles and severely parched hair
Is it just me or does Vanilla Bean Noel smell different? It used to be my all time favorite, now it has a weird tinge, almost musty. Mac my nose is changing (I can hate something one day and love it the next), but someone said recently smelly feet and now I can’t not smell it.

Shampoo and conditioner is relatively new. It's a no for me because I have to use particular hair products. Laundry detergent is available as well. Enjoy.
I’m the same, im very particular with the kind of shampoos i use and just products in general i try to use clean products for the most part but i think every once in a while it’ll be a nice shampoo to use just for the fragrance 😊

The jolly gingerbread village body spray completely dried down, smells exactly like the vanilla in burberry goddess, I will be layering!!!

To me, Jolly Gingerbread Village is gourmand to me, it's just not super sweet. Very spicy. To me, it's very similar to Jo Malone's Ginger Biscuit.

I get that with the mist too in the beginning. The musty smell fades away, but I'm picky so ended up doing an even exchange.

Careful with Shampoo & Conditioner there has been a lot of reports of chemical burns to the scalp.

This year's Vanilla Bean Noel smells kinda burnt to me. It's not bad, but it's not great. The Vanilla Buttercream (Happy Birthday) is way better.

I get that smell too! It’s faint enough for me to try to overlook it though.. I’m unsure about buying backups because of this.
Same for me. It does fade away, but I'm picky and don't want to be smelling that musty note at all. Glad I'm not the only one 😅
Am I the only one who gets no scent from the strawberry snowflakes body cream?
It’s so extremely faint, I have the lotion. I’m exchanging it! Probably for when hot cocoa and cream releases, I’ll get that one instead.
