They only gave him the ability to raise the dead so that they could bring back Gale and Hellfire. Probably Murata's idea who has a bad habit of making things up as he goes. ONE does let him put things into the story. The original version of the fight had Child Emperor defeating him by ensnaring him in a web-like trap, but Murata wanted to drag the fight out and re-drew the chapter so the fight could continue.

Nope. A god level threat is a threat to ALL humanity. That would have to include Saitama. The god level threat, whatever/whoever it is (hopefully Blast) will have to be an opponent who is equal in strength to Saitama (because no one can be STRONGER than him).
@@scottvgamer1163 disagree, the "God" classification is made by the hero association who has no idea of the extent of saitamas power, and considering he's at least planetary I would argue (completely nullified boros' final attack, which was stated in a guidebook and a few other sources to be able to destroy the planet or at least destroy it's surface, with one punch, and was so much stronger than the blast that the shockwave of the punch NULLIFYING the energy killed boros). Saitama is already far beyond just a threat to humanity, he's a threat to the entire planet if he wanted to be.

The way I see it, the only way for US to consider an enemy as a “God level threat,” (a threat to ALL humanity) it would have to be a threat to Saitama as well since he is still a human. The prophesied God level threat will likely be someone or something that can match Saitama’s strength, and be his toughest opponent yet, but Saitama will still likely come out on top.
His resurrected form is Dragon his brilliant eagle is high dragon if he evolved again after that he would be above dragon but idk if he would become god with another resurrection maybe 2 or 3 more
And nobody would think the same of Kid Emperor, if he fight any other character (less King and Saitama), he would have the best fight ever against Garou

I actually found myself rooting for Phoenix Man during his fight with Child Emperor. I felt like he deserved a win from an S Class hero after his depressing life. and humility. One of the only times I was rooting for a monster.

And also I hated the fact that child emperor hacked him on their first encounter without even letting him finish his sentence, that itself made me root for him. And on top of that his tragic past made to root him even more. But, sadly he was shamelessly defeated by a tickle bot of everything, made me feel super sorry for him as his absurd powers went in vain.

They were also able to injure and tank Brave Giant Unless you consider Nyan a low Dragon too. Phoneix Man was a high Dragon at least. His base form was Demon, his first resurrection was Low Dragon, his Brilliant Eagle was mid, then his next form was High Dragon. That's when he made the statement.

Another evolution would only make him even stronger and by that point hes above almost everyone in the Association. I don't even believe Gouketsu could fully destroy Pheonix Man to the point he would completely die. He was beyond everyone by the end of the fight with Child Emperor, no one but maybe Orochi could possibly kill him completely

Phoenix man is easily a high dragon. IMO he is stronger than gouketsu, rover, elder centipede, homeless emperor, gums, furher ugly, and a little weaker than orochi. He can probably defeat darkshine, atomic samurai and a few other heroes considering he gets stronger every time he dies. Even CE said that he cannot allow Phoenix man to evolve anymore cause even the other s class heroes will lose to him.
Atomic samurai and Flashy Flash is a bad match up for him... He's only able to resurrect successfully because his body and the costume was remained intact after dying. If they were the ones he encountered first, he would've never had the chance to get stronger.

His power is basically zenkai boosts. Though i think there are ways other s class can counter phoenix man. Atomic samurai could cut the suit completely along with phoenix man himself. Bang might be able to deconstruct the suit using martial arts. Darkshine could strait up rips his wings off. Upon other things.
But the main thing that they don't know anything about costume and would allow phoenix man to resurrect at least first time. Also we don't know any limitations of his ressurections, maybe he could resurrect if he died together with his costume.
Phoenix man is one of the characters that is potentially impossible to scale, and has the potential of becoming the strongest character. If he kept on resurrecting, he would keep on getting more and more powerful. If he had played it smart and went for someone who couldn't obliterate him beyond repair, he could eventually be impossible to beat. The downside to that strategy is obviously that he'd have to seek out stronger opponents, so he'd be taking a risk if he takes enough damage.
phoenix man's strength literally increased by like 50x with one ressurection, with another one he would literally have surpassed every character in the show instantly. Imean he literally went from a dude who died in one shot to like a top 4 monster in his first resurrection

Also he could be a cadre based on power alone, but not only that, he'd be somewhere near the top considering how INVALUABLE his resurrection ability would be to the association.
Spectaa a Child E. is top tie NOT BECAUSE THE BRAVE GIANT, but his INTELLIGENCE, THAT WAS THE POINT OF THE ENDING OF THIS BATTLE: you dont need more destructive power , but analyze and use just the correc t amount of tech (Phoenix Man biggest weakness is, after all, that he is wearing a suit, just rip the suit and that's it).
I personally think Pheonix Man was one of the most powerful Dragons in his last form against CE. If he resurrected again, I think he would compare to Orochi

There isn't a beam shown outside of Boros' that could destroy the planet, but Orochi and Child Emperor's beam attacks are the closest to the Collapsing Star Roaring Canon.
I mean, jokes aside His ability is top tier even among Elites of Monsters and Heroes -Super Speed -Some type of Cannon Beam -Regeneration -Transformation -And his Cheat like ability, Ressurection That's wayyy beyond any of the normal Dragon Class

If Garou can survive a serious headbutt to the arm and stay standing then I guarantee phoenix man would be strong enough to tank a serious punch after 3-5 saitama punches without permanently dying

ONE is such a great writer. In a world where near death experiences give you boosts in power, he creates _BEASTS_ like Phoenix Man and Metal Bat, who, with their powers, can _cheat the system._ It's just genius.
Was rooting for Phoenix the whole time, amazing design, interesting character given he wasn't generically evil and showed care for others (rare for monsters so far) and was beaten in a really BS way, I'd have been happy if he'd beat Child, reached beyond God status then ended up just not really doing anything after becoming ultimate powered and just goofed off the rest of the series
5 times could be an understatement It's not that he barely damaged ce's barriers its that he didn't damage them at all so he got way more than 5 times stronger to be able to bust through five
he is quite strong, but *doesnt matter if you are "inmortal" by receiving external attacks, once someone manages to rip off the suit, it is over* . FOR EXAMPLE, *Nyan would be his worst match up possible* , he would just get inside (or between) he and his suit and rip it off from the inside and end of story, wouldnt even matter if PM were Above dragon, it would just be over. *His abilities are broken, but also his weakness* .
Still the enemies must find how his power worked like what CE did by Oversmart PM(there are not many character who find pm weakness) and no PM can create heat wave on his body so nyan couldn't touch pm at all

It was great seeing Phoenix M and Child E going at it, they were both already my favorites I mean both of them kind of desire independence, both are extremely powerful but neither rely directly on brute strength to acheive their feats. Both are as the P man himself said costume heroes so ahhh it was a wonderful idea to redo this conflict I think. I think his resurrection ability especially for other characters really makes Phoenix Man perhaps the potentially most impactful character introduced barring saitama himself.
The only reason phoenix man loses to child emperor is because child emperor figured out his weakness, if child emperor didn't, he is easily God level threat.
Phoenix Man is a character that would be a final boss in any other anime for the heroes. Yet he is only a lacky to Orochi. So given that fact, don’t you think that even with all these amazing abilities and feats he’s done, it actually makes Orochi seem that much more scarier knowing he’s stronger than Phoenix Man even at his peak? Makes me wonder what levels of strength we never got to see from him.
Are you feeling alright dude? Child Emperor's Nova equivalent to Collapsing Star, Roaring Cannon?? I guess maybe in terms of what we actually see, they kinda look to be similar... but the difference would be that CE's Nova was as powerful as it was ever gonna get, whereas Collapsing Star was cut short before it even really began. If it wasn't cut short the minimum result would be no more humanity, the maximum no more solar system. On track, Phoenix Man was ridiculously awesome and I think an important plot point in establishing precedent. Pretty sure it's been done in OPM already, but never so emphasized as with Phoenix Man - the fact that someone could bond with a costume and false identity to undergo monsterfication. It's the same process that Garou is kinda going through, bonding with the remnants of Royal Ripper's costume and which I think is what ultimately provides Garou's monster form (which is why - SPOILER ALERT - when Saitama smashes it, Garou is still under there, fully human, and why Saitama says that Garou is weaker than he was before, because he's basically relying on a false power at that point).

The Blu-ray booklet reads, "To counter Boros's ultimate Collapsing Star, Roaring Cannon, which is formidable enough to obliterate a star, Saitama resorts to his Serious Punch." Everything in that booklet is legit endorsed by ONE as far as I know. I don't know if that's the original/only source. Besides, I think the clue's in the name. And while characters are known for giving cool-sounding names to their moves just for effect, I don't believe that to be the case from Boros.

It has been said that he talks with his costume. Theye are symbiotic. PErhaps a real phoenix would give tremendous problems to association. @@scottvgamer1163 disagree, the "God" classification is made by the hero association who has no idea of the extent of saitamas power, and considering he's at least planetary I would argue (completely nullified boros' final attack, which was stated in a guidebook and a few other sources to be able to destroy the planet or at least destroy it's surface, with one punch, and was so much stronger than the blast that the shockwave of the punch NULLIFYING the energy killed boros). Saitama is already far beyond just a threat to humanity, he's a threat to the entire planet if he wanted to be.

The way I see it, the only way for US to consider an enemy as a “God level threat,” (a threat to ALL humanity) it would have to be a threat to Saitama as well since he is still a human. The prophesied God level threat will likely be someone or something that can match Saitama’s strength, and be his toughest opponent yet, but Saitama will still likely come out on top.
His resurrected form is Dragon his brilliant eagle is high dragon if he evolved again after that he would be above dragon but idk if he would become god with another resurrection maybe 2 or 3 more

The only way a monster can really be called a god level threat, is if it can even stand a chance against Saitama. I actually found myself rooting for Phoenix Man during his fight with Child Emperor. I felt like he deserved a win from an S Class hero after his depressing life. and humility. One of the only times I was rooting for a monster.

And also I hated the fact that child emperor hacked him on their first encounter without even letting him finish his sentence, that itself made me root for him. And on top of that his tragic past made to root him even more. Their raw physical speed can generate explosions and their attack potency scales to that as well. That ontop of being master martial artists and assassins. They were also able to injure and tank Brave Giant

But couldnt react to Golden Sperm casually passing by and blitzing Tatsumaki......THAT SHOULD BE A DEAD GIVEAWAY FOR THE DIFFERENCE IN SPEED BETWEEN GOLDEN S AND THE NINJA DUOS. Not even Atomic Samuria who is considered one of the fastest characters in the series couldnt see Golden Sperm movements at all. And you realize that Awakaned Garou was COMPLETELY TOYING AROUND WITH FLASHY FLASHY. Flashy Flash did absolutely nothing againt Awakaned Garou. Like he didnt do jack shit lmao 🤣. Meanwhile Golden Sperm had an all out battle that none of the S-class their could see their battle and was battling against a near Awakaned Garou and pushed Garou to become Awakaned Garou from their fight. Legit nobody belives that Flashy Flash has a chance against Golden Sperm but you..... just admit you are wrong

I believe Phoenix Man was probably stronger than Gouketsu and Elder Centipede in his Brillaint Eagle form at the end of his fight. At least he is comparable to them without a doubt. Another evolution would only make him even stronger and by that point hes above almost everyone in the Association. I don't even believe Gouketsu could fully destroy Pheonix Man to the point he would completely die. He was beyond everyone by the end of the fight with Child Emperor, no one but maybe Orochi could possibly kill him completely

He can probably defeat darkshine, atomic samurai and a few other heroes considering he gets stronger every time he dies.
Even CE said that he cannot allow Phoenix man to evolve anymore cause even the other s class heroes will lose to him.
Atomic samurai and Flashy Flash is a bad match up for him... He's only able to resurrect successfully because his body and the costume was remained intact after dying. If they were the ones he encountered first, he would've never had the chance to get stronger.

Phoenix man is one of the characters that is potentially impossible to scale, and has the potential of becoming the strongest character. If he kept on resurrecting, he would keep on getting more and more powerful. If he had played it smart and went for someone who couldn't obliterate him beyond repair, he could eventually be impossible to beat. The downside to that strategy is obviously that he'd have to seek out stronger opponents, so he'd be taking a risk if he takes enough damage.

If he was killed by saitama again and again like even 5 times he would be far stronger than Boros. ONE is such a great writer. In a world where near death experiences give you boosts in power, he creates _BEASTS_ like Phoenix Man and Metal Bat, who, with their powers, can _cheat the system._ It's just genius.
Was rooting for Phoenix the whole time, amazing design, interesting character given he wasn't generically evil and showed care for others (rare for monsters so far) and was beaten in a really BS way, I'd have been happy if he'd beat Child, reached beyond God status then ended up just not really doing anything after becoming ultimate powered and just goofed off the rest of the series

FOR EXAMPLE, *Nyan would be his worst match up possible* , he would just get inside (or between) he and his suit and rip it off from the inside and end of story, wouldnt even matter if PM were Above dragon, it would just be over. *His abilities are broken, but also his weakness* .
Still the enemies must find how his power worked like what CE did by Oversmart PM(there are not many character who find pm weakness) and no PM can create heat wave on his body so nyan couldn't touch pm at all

It was great seeing Phoenix M and Child E going at it, they were both already my favorites I mean both of them kind of desire independence, both are extremely powerful but neither rely directly on brute strength to acheive their feats. Both are as the P man himself said costume heroes so ahhh it was a wonderful idea to redo this conflict I think.
I think his resurrection ability especially for other characters really makes Phoenix Man perhaps the potentially most impactful character introduced barring saitama himself.
The only reason phoenix man loses to child emperor is because child emperor figured out his weakness, if child emperor didn't, he is easily God level threat.
Phoenix Man is a character that would be a final boss in any other anime for the heroes. Yet he is only a lacky to Orochi. So given that fact, don’t you think that even with all these amazing abilities and feats he’s done, it actually makes Orochi seem that much more scarier knowing he’s stronger than Phoenix Man even at his peak?
Makes me wonder what levels of strength we never got to see from him.

Are you feeling alright dude? Child Emperor's Nova equivalent to Collapsing Star, Roaring Cannon?? I guess maybe in terms of what we actually see, they kinda look to be similar... but the difference would be that CE's Nova was as powerful as it was ever gonna get, whereas Collapsing Star was cut short before it even really began. If it wasn't cut short the minimum result would be no more humanity, the maximum no more solar system.
On track, Phoenix Man was ridiculously awesome and I think an important plot point in establishing precedent. Pretty sure it's been done in OPM already, but never so emphasized as with Phoenix Man - the fact that someone could bond with a costume and false identity to undergo monsterfication. It's the same process that Garou is kinda going through, bonding with the remnants of Royal Ripper's costume and which I think is what ultimately provides Garou's monster form (which is why - SPOILER ALERT - when Saitama smashes it, Garou is still under there, fully human, and why Saitama says that Garou is weaker than he was before, because he's basically relying on a false power at that point).

@@amanraijandial It's been cited as Star-busting, though I imagine Boros was only aiming for the planet in the anime. I have no scans, but it's pretty well known info taken from the DVD/Bluray booklet and maybe other sources. ONE has confirmed/backed up said info as far as I know.

The Blu-ray booklet reads, "To counter Boros's ultimate Collapsing Star, Roaring Cannon, which is formidable enough to obliterate a star, Saitama resorts to his Serious Punch." Everything in that booklet is legit endorsed by ONE as far as I know. I don't know if that's the original/only source.
Besides, I think the clue's in the name. And while characters are known for giving cool-sounding names to their moves just for effect, I don't believe that to be the case from Boros.

Also, Do GS,orochi,Tats has a chance of winning against released boros ? If no, add all cadres and S class heros to help(except blast, drive knight, metal knight, and watch dog man).If still not, add boro's three general to help and boros can't use regeneration.
