I have been in CA by the port and see all kinds of test mule cars. First "New supra" I saw had car camo stickers on it to hide badges and a manual transmission. It was at a Rite Aid and I was shocked to see it. Walked up to look inside and saw it was stick! Was so shocked to see a new supra, let alone a manual that I didn't even realize there was a woman in the passenger seat! So I knew this was in the works before I even saw a production Supra. It was very cool.
I decided on a supra being my next car because of your channel, get back in a manual to help us decide which one to get!

@@bman1668 That is quite possibly the most ignorant comment on YT today, not sure that has anything to do with it but OK, everyone is entitled to their opinion. What I'll say is that the design appears to be part of a broader design language that BMW is going to go with on all future models too, so this is only the beginning; also, design groups for car companies have teams, it's not the one guy or gal. 🙂 If your design team is on meth, this is what happens though.

I was wondering if CES can provide a map for 2020 Supra PURE 800 n DP running only 93 octane. Wish I can drive up for a dyno and custom tune but the drive is 8 hours from where im located.
You mentioned going from KW V3 to Ohlins, but didn't explain the difference............

This is what the Supra should always be, like the Lotus Evora, lotus keep the best method with there sports cars. The supra should only come with a manual transmission.

rear wheel is more fun than all wheel.....the car pushes you rear wheel......while the awd will not feel the same when accelerating
I think we are about the same height. How was shifting with the leg room in the Supra? I have my seat as far back as it will go and it seems like my knees will hit the steering wheel.
There’s plenty of leg room. I’m quite tall and can shift pretty comfortably
What were the bolt on's for the stock tune that got 402whp? The car is 383hp to the crank, where did the car get that much more power without a protune only running on stock

Customer did not want stock numbers. He wanted the mods installed, and requested the numbers we show. Plenty of resources online for bone stock numbers

Can we get a word from the customer or CES on how the stock clutch is holding up with those power levels. Does it hold up to stage 2 93 oct? what power and torque level does it start to slip?
I’m guessing it’s really how you drive it and how abusive you are with it. Stage 2 93 should be good for stock clutch. I will keep you posted on how the clutch is holding up, I’m going to put the 1/4 mile time slip and maybe a go pro video of the run when it warms up.
@@matthewfox4676 I'm guessing you are the owner? if so thnx for the replied. I'm curious cause I'm trying get one this summer and want to go only stage 2. As long as it holds up to stage 2 pump gas I'm happy and will get one, even better if it can hold the E40 OTS map. Just don't want it to be like a manual golf R that slips as soon as you throw in stage 1. But please keep us updated, you have IG so we can follow?

Power is cool, but shifting gears is better. . automatic can shift faster and take more mods, but its boring to drive
