One tip for anyone with a 2019+ SF: Since the tire jack is so rarely needed, I pulled out the styrofoam piece it's stored in and used a knife to cut just a bit of foam off the length. This allowed me to easily fit it into one of the farther back underfloor storage compartments and freed up the other side of the more convenient underfloor storage which also allows you to put long items in there like a large umbrella
My dad had the Santa Fe, really a nice SUV. I think with a turbo, this would be a great hauler. Thanks for pushing Joe to get us into all these wonderful vehicles, Lori! Awesome camera work, as usual!
I just bought new 22 Santa Fe on Friday. It looks exactly like the same in video. White color too. Very impressed. I'm not into expensive Mercedes or bmw. For me this really is big luxury

You can’t not admit that our Korean friends are making some fine vehicles. This is a beautiful SUV, and it represents a great value. All of my neighbors seem to be coming home with beautiful new Hyundai, Genesis, and Kia vehicles. By the way, congrats to Cadillac for going all electric. Who cares what their customers want? I knew they were on their way down when they stripped the wreath off the crest. SERIOUSLY considering Korean brands from here forward. Classy and versatile SUV. There a style for just about every taste. The technology in this vehicle is giving everyone a run for their money. Excellent review, Joe.👍
Great video! I literally just test drove the SEL trim with convenience package. (It did not have the premium package) But wow! It looks good in the video, but it looks AMAZING in person. The electronic gauge cluster is absolutely unreal. I couldn't believe it. I'm traditionally an analog person, but this will change your mind. Also, you can customize the displays, so it doesn't have to be that weird white color for "normal mode." The cloth seats look so much better in person, than in the video. The center console isn't super high in the middle as I thought, a perfect height. Go see this car in person. Just amazing.
Going around the car 360, showing the engine, showing the interior both passenger and driver side, the dash, infotainment, exhaust note, drive. Shooting the car such that the whole thing is in frame and you are not on your knees looking up at it from weird angles. This technique should be known as the 'Raiti' and why he is so much better than other RUclipsrs at this.
Man...Joe the Styling Department must have worked some overtime! What a great looking body. This Hyundai / Kia deal is making some impressive vehicles. Nice job Lori....
Your videos helped me so much trying to decide on getting a new car. I’m going to pick up my new 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL today with the convenience and premium package. The interior is actually the same as this one but I got the color in Twilight Black 😍😊
Thank you Joe for pointing out a legit zonk: no ventilated seats. That, plus no traditional shifter, is a dealbreaker for me. I just picked up my new 2021 Telluride SX Prestige AWD last week and it's nothing short of amazing. I love that it has heated and cooled 1st and 2nd rows, the Dune Brown Nappa leather seats are so comfortable, and the Kia heads-up display, infotainment touchscreen, and real tactile buttons, are the best in the business as far as I'm concerned. The Santa Fe definitely has a place in Hyundai's lineup, but without some of the more premium features found in the Palisade, I think a lot of people will see more value in the higher-end 3 row option. Lots of people, including me, who drive 3-row mid-sized SUVs choose to leave the 3rd row down and enjoy all the extra space behind the 2nd row. You and Lori do a great job as usual, and y'all's success is definitely well-earned. Thank you again for another awesome review. :)

That would be a great addition to all of your reviews, since light signatures have become such a distinct and at times unique feature of each manufacturer. They will affect the line of sight and eye reflex of anyone behind the vehicle. 3) Finally found a reference to the gone, but not forgotten, Mr. Pibb~! Thanks Joe, made my day...

I love love that hyundai still keeps the physical buttons. I was anti touch screen but I think they have cracked the code, good mix of physical with touch screen.
Santa Fe looks great ! My only complaint is the front. The headlights are so unique but I think they get a lil lost with the grill. Wish they would've slightly separated them with the brushed aluminum around the whole grill or body color.
One thing that actually caught my eye and absolutely love are the hard switches. Takes me so long to make simple adjustments on so many tablet only cars today. Reminds me of a Porsche Cayenne from an interior styling standpoint. Nice review!
Looks really cool Joe. Hyundai is bringing the party oh yes. I am in a refreshed state of shock looking at this suv. Gotta recognize Lori and the excellent video imagery.
The base model AWD drive is excellent when handling in rain but I like the idea of feeling more power when accelerating so that is why I decided to buy the 2.0T AWD Hyundai Santa Fe.
I really wish they would stop putting the turn signals at the bottom of the rear bumper. It just makes it harder for those other drivers that are higher to notice them. Kinda a styling and safety thing.
Unfortunately for the 2021 in the Santa Fe, when you move up the trim level and the 2.5 turbo Hyundai is gonna stick you with a dual clutch. It's a wet dual clutch but nonetheless. I have a dry dual clutch in my 2016 Tucson and it SUCKS, many recalls and adjustments and it still sucks. Let's hope that Hyundai and a few years of learning how to improve a dual clutch will make a difference. The nice thing is the top trim level will get the Calligraphy just like the Palisade.
LED running lights but not the front turn signals? Regular blinkers look so bad and blink so slowly when compared to LED blinkers. Rear blinkers are LED though. At least you can swap the front ones out for LED after the fact.
Hey just came across this review as I was in the market for one. I believe the one you reviewed has the Convenience + Premium Package as it comes with H/K audio, moon roof and 10" screen. The Limited comes with the turn signal on the top part of the T drl, which is so clean rather than a regular bulb near the bottom on SEL trims

Great and timely review! Our 2018 comes off lease in January. Plan on moving to Hyundai SantaFe! I’ve been waiting for your review as you have the best reviews on RUclips and wanted your opinion before we pull the trigger. I have been trying to decide if we wanted the 2021 SEL with standard 4 Cyl with fuel injection or go to the 2021 Limited with the turbo. Your comments on the GFI 4cyl being anemic was extremely helpful! Your video sealed the deal for the Limited. It sounded like the turbo isn’t offered on the 21 SEL, it was offered on the 20 SEL. Also you did not mentioned if the 2021 SEL having a rear view monitor. It doesn’t appear to be an option. That’s the deal breaker! So can’t wait for your review on the 2021 SantaFe Limited when will that happen? Lots of reviews on the calligraphy none on the Limited. Thanks again! You and Laurie ROCK!
Why put rear turn signals on the bumper? Makes no sense to me. I might not even notice them sitting at a traffic light or if they are trying to change lane. Why not integrate rear turn signals into taillights?
Hola Joe! I’ve been subscribed since last year, How are you doing? Thank you for your videos I really want you to review a Performance Blue 2021 Veloster N, My spouse and I have been thinking about buying one! Thank you sir!
Good report Joe. Question for ya; taking out the 3-row/2-row equation, would you rather have a loaded Santa Fe Limited with 2.5 turbo or a Kia Sorrento SX Prestige with the same motor? There’s equipment you can get on the Santa Fe that’s missing from the Sorrento which is baffling with Kias move to upmarket and separate from Hyundai. It’s the same with the K5 against the Sonata. More equipment on the Sonata but you can get AWD with the K5 and it’s not offered on the Sonata. I’m a Kia guy but this Santa Fe looks intriguing.
Hyundai has done a great job this year this model, not many zonks. Agreed on the back windshield wiper, also on the ventilated seats 💺. Can tell when Laurie is working that camera magic 🎆 I knew it was her. But have to ask do you allow eating in your car? So many hotdogs and twinkies go into this business. :D Also: them jeans ;)
Cheap doesn’t mean boring anymore! Love what Hyundai and Kia are bringing to the table.

I own a 2017 White Limited Ultimate and love it too. Have you seen the completely redesigned 2022? It’s quite a bit larger and absolutely stunning.
We own both a 2019 and 2020 SEL models. The 2.4 liter is just perfect for the average driver, I can average 32 mpg on HWY no problem.
Thanks for your review Joe some time around like July or August My mom will be getting a 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL with both of the upgrade packages.
J ~ I'm impressed that Hyundai has your cell number, good recovery hahaha. love the comedy zingers. I dig the looks & improvements, Hyundai just keeps rockin' - great POV on the driving coverage, Lori does an awesome job capturing video - you guys make a brilliant team. - tony
Tony you are way to kind! Thank you for letting us share some fun but also car passion with with you!

Yes!! You knocked it out the park with this one, Raiti!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
In fact, Hyundai has done a good job recently...👌
So very true!
I agree with you regarding the turn signals. Did they change it for 2022?
Thank You Hyundai for an 8-Speed automatic instead of that CVT!
I totally agree with you!

Thanks for letting em bring it to you!
This is a first for me! An evening review on this channel!
Same here! LOL
Well I take that back. I have reviewed cars at night.
@@RaitisRides LOL
Why put rear turn signals on the bumper? Makes no sense to me. I might not even notice them sitting at a traffic light or if they are trying to change lane. Why not integrate rear turn signals into taillights?
Hola Joe! I’ve been subscribed since last year,
How are you doing? Thank you for your videos
I really want you to review a Performance Blue 2021 Veloster N, My spouse and I have been thinking about buying one! Thank you sir!
Hola Ronie! I am doing great! I will get one together for you!
@@RaitisRides thank you Joe! You’re the best!
I think in the end I’m going Sorento!
“You could hold onto your balls or you could put them in there” hahaha I love you mr. Raiti!
That was classic. I was thinking Ding Dongs or Twinkies, but he went with balls.

Another great review. Can't wait for the other trim levels review. Keep'em coming.
Thanks for saying that and being part of the Raiti’s Rides family!
YES IT'S BEAUTIFUL. YOU THE BEST JOE!!!
Thanks man! That means a lot!
I was about to buy a Rangerover Velar but this got my money, very very nice my wife is very happy ,everything you could think of ,perfect!!!
Love ❤️ the Santa Fe from Oz we have the older model great 👍.
Also: them jeans ;)
