Floor and the car look great! 6 weeks start to finish is crazy...wish I could get it done that fast!! Good luck on the inspection and enjoy putting some miles on the 57 before the weather turns! 😎
There should be a vent on top of the trans, it may be plugged causing the trans to loose it's juice when it heats up. too if you have a trans cooler in front of the radiator if the lines are not attached correctly it will allow the fluid to leak.
A huge shout out from Vancouver Canada , great job on the floor and AMAZING BUILD . Good luck with the inspection . I can’t wait to see the Nova get some work done to her . Cheers .
Excellent work getting the 57 back together. You did it in record time if you ask me! Keep up the great work and keep the videos coming our way please. I hope you will be doing more on the Nova soon.
I had the same issue with my th350. The fluid would drain back to the pan after a few days and leak. Ended up my kickdown cable was cracked close to the trans. And new oem type cable and no more leaks. The after market cables are junk. Those axle bearing/seals can be a hit or miss the seals can leak. Took me two of them before I found one that didn't. I cut the old bearing and lock ring off with a cutoff wheel. Then had a local shop press the new one on.

Hold the axle by the flange and slam the spline end on your clean floor and the bearing should drop off,its the little ring that holds the bearing in place
