I have COPD with Emphysema, I’ve also always had an abnormal heart rhythm, but as I’m sure you know arrhythmias are hard to detect. Lucky me finally one day my cardiologist caught it, My cardiologist then referred me to an Electrophysiology and a Cardio Ablation was set up for November 11th. I was and still am taking (Daliresp 500mcg 1x day, Anaro 62.5 mcg/25mcg 1x day, Ventolin hfs 90mcg as needed). Myself and my family were told it would be a 2-4 hour procedure, it ended up being a nine house surgery with updates saying that there was one spot near my right lung that they were trying to get. After everything was said and done I woke up in ICU with tubes down my throat (again) machines breathing for me. Cardiologist and now Pulmonologist saying I have pneumonia. I was never told about the one they were trying to get near my lung (which by the way after all that they did not get). I was not told how long the “procedure” took, all I knew was that I was not where I should have been and I couldn’t breathe. I guess I could have just asked you this question without writing all of this mess but do you think they may have messed something up with my right lung? I’ve been approved for 24/7 oxygen for 99 months. The thing is I didn’t need oxygen before they tried to fix me.
