Good evening Andrei… hopefully things will quiet down and Belarus will get to the modestly thriving tourist destination it should be. Such a beautiful country and wonderful people Thank you for sharing… Best to you and yours.
Whenever I come to Belarus, I always request crisp, and mint cash from my bank. My first visit, I had several bills rejected because of very minor flaws that were almost not even noticable. I learned to closely inspect everything. I look forward to returning to Belarus in July!
Andrei can provide advice and help with tourism, guiding, finding a place to stay, handling visas, and even matters about marriage. He really is a jack of all trades. I can't tell you how much he's helped me. He can't just be called a 'guide'. Out of respect, I call him 'Captain'. Because when you're exploring an unknown world, you need a great captain!
Thanks Andrei for info and updates. I have travelled to most European countries and found Belarus picturesque, unspoiled, very safe and friendly. Not to mentioned that cost of living is still way better than all the other countries I have seen. I've just remembered the time I left my credit card in an ATM in Minsk and you've got it back the next day. 🙂 Thanks again.
very useful video! I was planning to travel there in April from California! After watching this and realizing how much red tape is involved, I changed my mind. I am now going to New Zealand!
Or Paris, it should be even easier ) Not sure what you mean under "so much red tape" - for me applying for a USA visa involves getting 20 papers, out of which 10 will be to get a Schengen visa to Poland - that's where a US embassy is. And that's with 5-8 weeks of waiting. Red tape, my ... my.)
I travle a lot. Last year, I traveled 8 months in Europe and Asia, but I didn't have to get any visa. Not only that, you were saying anywhere I go I would have to report about the changes and much more. That is alot for someone who only wants to travel. You even have only one airline that belongs to the country that I can take. It seems to me that this country is not too democratic. I just pass. I appreciate the video.@@MinskGuide
"I would have to report about the changes and much more" - if that bothers you, just stay at a hotel and don't report a thing. Just pass) I appreciate your feedback.
Hello Andrei - Fantastic Video! I love details, and no one is better at this than you. Do you have a website that shows your prices for tours and services ?
Great video! I just wanted to ask if I need a visa? I’m a British citizen and will be visiting Vilnius soon. I wanted to also have a day trip in Minsk. Will I need a visa for this ?
You're the second UK citizen asking - glad we're becoming more popular. So, fly in, fly out - no visa. Land border crossing - post your papers to the consulate in London, no big deal.
Hei andrei thank you for the infos! Do you know if I as a German citizen do need a visa to visit Belarus if I enter via bus from warsaw? I know that if I fly by plane straight to Minsk I dont need one but by bus I'm not sure
Hi! I'm planning on visiting Belarus in May for tourism for around 2 weeks. I want to enter by land and I wonder whether it's best to travel from Riga, Vilnius, or Warsaw. I hold an Argentinian passport, so I don't need a visa to any of those countries. Thank you for this video!
I'm going to visit Belarus soon, may I ask that if I'm staying at a Hotel, but after that I'll go to another hotel in another town am I supposed to do the registration or the other hotel will do for me as well? Thanks for your help in advance!
Hi there thanks for the informative video. Resources like this is so useful for people outside Belarus. I've tried searching the travel websites for flights into Belarus and it would appear that there is literally no way to fly there from the rest of Europe. What would you say is the simplest way of getting to Minsk? Is it the bus from Vilnius? Google Maps still shows train times between Vilnius and Minks. Is that train still operating? Thank you for your feedback it is appreciated.
Hey Andrei thanks for the Infos again! Are there any official updates on the 180/90 rule for visiting Belarus from one of your previous videos? My Belarussian Embassy in Germany only says I can stay 90 days in one calender year.
Everything on the subject is in the video, nothing changed. And how does the embassy say that? Did you specifically make an inquiry referring to the 2020 visa deal?
Could we confirm that your citizenship is actually EU? After this, could you possibly share the embassy reply if it's written? Because I have a reply from the foreign Ministry confirming my point.
@@MinskGuide I don't have written reply it was oral. They just said I (German citizen thus EU) can only stay 90 days in a calender year in Belarus. Do you have any official sources I could point them to ? There are Visa B, C and D and I would like to obtain the Visa C (I have an invitation) a second time this year but they said only a total of 90 days is allowed and I used already 83 days the first half of the year thus could only stay 7 days till end of this year. Sorry maybe I am misunderstanding the rule but I cannot find it anywhere on the internet. Maybe you mean with the 180/90 rules the long term visa D?
Hi! I'm planning on going to Belarus this year and want to enter/leave by land. Which border crossing would you recommend? I have a non-EU passport. I wanted to cross from Poland but after seeing your video I'm thinking that maybe it's not the best? Thank you!
Hi@@MinskGuide thank you so much for your reply! Not sure what specifics you were missing tho ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but thank you so much for recommending crossing from Lithuania (PS I don't need a visa to visit either Schenguen nor Belarus)
When you come into a doctor's office, you should add something more specific to "I'm not feeling well". Immigration is the same: "I have a non-EU passport." is not a very straight presentation of your case. You may want to state your citizenship, visa status for Belarus and ideally, travel purpose to get an adequate solution :)
Hi ...Mr. Andrei ..im from India...thanku for such informative video. Can I get tourist visa for 30 days so as to just have a visit of country and then decide for buying a residential property there in Minsk. And also the tentative price of 3 rooms flat in middle standard area in Minsk city.
Thank you, you can get yourself a tourist trip for 2 weeks with one of the agencies and once you are here, decide what kind of property you're looking for. When you are here, feel free to contact me for a meeting and a consultancy.
I am a european tourist. I will get both Russia and belarus visas. My plan is to go from vilnus to minsk by bus, them from minsk to moscow by plane, then from moscow to minsk by plane. Is it possible? I heard that I must request migration cards at the airports??
If you are on a UK passport, you are eligible to visa-free airport program, allows you 30 days in the country providing you fly in and out. Please watch a respective video.
@@MinskGuide what would happen if I can't show proof of booking? Plan is to live at my friend's place and I can show his passport as proof. He is belarusian citizen.
Everything is perfectly safe. Just cross at the official checkpoints with the visa. An American guy came by bike from Lithuania yesterday. He seems to be enjoying the place and we're talking residency now. He's undecided so far of course, let's see.
Thanks for quick answer. Could you also suggest what is the cheapest and easiest way to get to Minsk from Warsaw? I'm thinking about to take a train from Warsaw to Terespol cross border and a train from Brest to Minsk. Also what language should I study for my trip you think its better to focus on Belarusian or Russian? Merry Christmas by the way! :)
You might agree that filming the process for each nation will be a soap opera. My friend who got his house got his 90 days multiple visa for the year. Another guy who was coming to buy business, got his 30 days from my company. Unfortunately, some guys have been banned.
But first tourist have absolutely no idea how to go there! No direct plane! Enter by the land, nearly impossible! Getting a visa, tiresome! You have to get an invitation letter. That's really a pity otherwise a lot of people including would dream visiting Belarus.

I was born in Australia . My Mum (dec) was born in Belarus and lived there for 16 years. Am I a dual nationality?
I believe you can get at least temporary residency, the rest has to be researched through a consultancy and examining papers.
