As New Zealander Gallipoli is a massive thing for us, there is an amazing exhibit at Te Papa (national museum)full of personal accounts and incredible displays (made by Wētā Workshop). One thing that always surprised me is now a days there is massive mutual respect between Turkey and the ANZAC. It's amazing how one battle can carry so much history for multiple nations.
It’s called nation building using war and defeats to create a national identity to manipulate the citizens.. even the serbs do it with karajorge who was massacred by the turks 700 years ago 😂
This is a very accurate depiction what actually occurred at Anzac Cove. Left flank: the first plateau (Plugges) was captured and the Anzacs were halted crossing The Nek while trying to capture the hill Baby 700. The Turks in the centre (Quinn’s Post) commanded the Shrapnel Gully/Monash Valley approach and on the right flank the attackers were halted along the 400 Plateau/Lone Pine plateau. Really demonstrates how the Turks had the advantage from the heights.

Great video for a campaign that is largely ignored outside of academic circles and the Australian, New Zealand, and Turkish countries. Brilliant.
4:47 Classic bf 1942 german death sound 😃
Some awesome audio up in here
Türk here , like the map and accurate designs of Ottoman Troops.
If you remove the ocean, this map would make a great Soviet Afghan Mujahideen battle
Great video! One question how much time does it take to make one of these from scripting to recording?
raise your hand if your from Australia or New Zealand
I've always wondered why artillery and mortar shells whistle while the travel through the air. Is that true or just fiction?
for some reason when i place trenches in my editor, they spawn as if they are in the ground. any ideas on a fix??
You need to place them when in the f3 tab
put them with the F2 then save it and in F3 save your mission with F3 and reload it your trench will be normal
Does anyone see my great great grandfather?
