Another good practice is to make an alternate profile in mo2 with only the npc replacer plugins and their requirements loaded. It cuts down on errors since so many mods touch npcs in ways you would not expect.
I'm gonna have to save this and watch it again when im ready to do a modded run of Skyrim for my community, I have never tried modding Skyrim, but I have a lot of recommendations and something for the NPC's might be a really good addition so thanks for this!
what does the "-z" argument do exactly? when I added that the app said it couldn't find the executable anymore. It immediately went away when I removed it
A late reply, but there is one problem that isn't clearly explained on their faq or troubleshooting. What do we do if there is a single mod that contains multiple versions of a single NPC, but the version you want says plugin not enabled, despite the fact that it is the same plugin as the ones without that error?
If I've done all this but then want to change the face of a single NPC, because I found a better replacer or realised I simple want the NPC back to vanilla. Do I have to re-enable all the replacers/overhauls again and run the program all over again? Is there no easier way to just change a single NPC.
upon building, it's stuck on "extract texture paths" for me :( I mean it seems to do something but it seems to take on forever.. and I don't have that many NPC mods installed :(
you click edit and then the plus sign in the upper left corner. To run it you can choose it from the drop down menu and click run after adding it as an executable
when disabling the other mods do you do it on the left panel or the right? I did this but the black faces still appeared on the vampires and it's very frustrating
Bad instructions, I and several others have come to this tutorial to have solved the issue of blank mugshots. Your video has solved nothing. Thumbs down.
There's an infinite amount of reasons you could be having blank mugshots specifically based on your particular situation. My tutorial is simply for how to install and and use Easy Npc. You can go on their discord to ask for help with your specific issues 💁

I think the only problem with that is easy NPC needs your load order to build its own patches.

good job been subscribed for a while and love to new mods like this for skyrim 😃
You are the best! Thank you so much!
Now what if there isnt a mugshot for a desired mod?
the mugshots isn't showing at all
I love this tool but man be prepared to sit down for 2 days and do nothing but this lol

Adding the -z argument is what makes the post-build checker. It should be separate from the easy npc executable you make before that

Try asking in their discord channel!

Check the faq on the GitHub page (there's a link in the mod description page)
Can't see the mugshots even though I have done what you exactly did.
Look through the faq and the mod page forum to troubleshoot
did you manage to fix this? same problem
1:15 How did you get the post-build checker as an executable?
2:27 What did you do to run the program?

What mod root directory do I use?
when disabling the other mods do you do it on the left panel or the right? I did this but the black faces still appeared on the vampires and it's very frustrating
Try putting easynpc at the very last of your load order. And also disable old mods on left panel
"Something went wrong" error message when i try to build...
If you click on the link in the error message does it give you a log file? Also were there any warnings before you started the build?
How long does it take to run the post build checker?
I am getting
It's the very first edition .... aka "Oldrim" or LE Legacy edition. This is for SE version "Special Edition"
what is tools folder i don't have that, i have skyrim on gamepass and i use all the mods on vortex
what about AI Overhaul patches???
I'm pretty sure those can be included!
You do not want AI overhaul patches for any NPC mods you have because easy NPC will build its own patches.

Cool make your own tutorial then 👍 If you're having issues that aren't part of the tutorial there's plenty of info on the mod page and reddit threads
@@ponponmods 100% it's part of the tutorial, you just didn't bother covering something you can't explain. Don't waste people's time.

@@d0g780 No need to get hostile bud, you need to separately find and download the mugshots. Not every mod has them.
@@ponponmods I fixed my problem, sorry for the attitude.
