- In my crochet tutorial today I'll be showing you how to make this crochet seaweed applique.
If you would like to view the crochet pattern for free, it's on my website at kerriscrochet.... or you can download it from Ravelry for $1 at www.ravelry.co... or on LoveCrafts at www.lovecrafts...

For this pattern you will need green or brown crochet cotton or wool, I used 8 ply wool which is light worsted in the US and double knit in the UK. A crochet hook, I used a 3mm hook. Scissors. Darning needle to weave in ends.
The finished size will be 27cm x 24cm (10.5” x 9.5”) for the larger seaweed, using 8 ply wool. The medium seaweed will be 18cm x 16cm (7” x 6.25”) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small seaweed will be 14cm x 13cm (5.5” x 5.25”) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.

Elinize emeğinize sağlık çok teşekkür ederim 🌟🌟🌟🌹
Teşekkürler rica ederim.
Kerri, all your work is beautiful! I made several with 4wt yarn/3.75 mm hook for a quiet book of crochet pages. Each were 9” x9” so I had to be careful to get appliqués to fit. I’d like to use this seaweed - thought I’d leave off the stems and use 3.25 mm hook. Or I can experiment with sopping on leaf sections sooner, too. How many chains would you estimate I’d need for just a tiny bit of the stem and then the leaves? Or any suggestions to more like 8.5”. I realize this may just be something I need to experiment with but thought your experience might help as well. Thank you.
I'd make the stem shorter and less leaves, I haven't made it for awhile so I'll have to check the pattern out and get back to you.
Hi mrs kerrie i made a beach house on pilens. applique . Could u please tell me how to crochet stairs for my beach house. Thank you .
For front on stairs you would work the amount of chain for the rails and probably work a single crochet into each except the 1st one. For the steps you would work the amount of chain for across the steps and depending on the angle you look at the steps they would appear a different width so I’d work single crochet for 1 step, half double crochet for the next 1 and double crochet for the bottom step. Without seeing the beach hut it’s difficult to know what type of steps you would need.
