Nigerians that has family that’s still struggling abroad really needs to watch this, No matter how much you share your experience they just don’t get it.
Femi, you’re a star, you remain a star in our eyes!!!! Many of us came to the US worked humbling jobs for short years as we found our feet here and today we live a much more comfortable life. I know a cousin who was squatting with his wife and kids in another cousins guest room for 2years today he owns multimillion dollar clinics and properties just 13 years later in the same Texas. Your story will be better than that by His Grace
you NEED a GODLY Wife, so many women have divorced their husbands in the US , put them on child support, take their house and more than half of their money ...Nigerian Women in US can be BAD!!! or Good ooo
Femi Brainard is so humble. I love the way he speaks. I learn something whenever I tune in. This show is so authentic. Uncle Teju, you just won yourself an extra subscriber 🧡
I barely listen to lengthy interviews, but this got me stuck to my phone till the very end. Learnt many lessons here, firstly, put God in everything and anything you do. A good wife is a treasure! Kudos Teju
The level of vulnerability maintained by every guest on this show tells a lot about how the authenticity of this show! Very seasoned host and guests! Great job Teju.
Teju Baby Face is a great person himself, an all rounder in everything. Apart from being respectful, he can dance very well and does outstanding presentations. A surely smart man! Femi Brainard, you are also a good looking celebrity with great contributions to our community. You can always still perform anytime and anywhere, your gift is inborn. Thank God for your migration to the USA at the right time, for your children! May God bless all the people that He raised to assist your family at the time of your needs.

Egbon Teju has been so inspiring with his educative and enlightening interviews , I am privilege to watch this here in Nigeria. Our decision has been made . Yankee I am coming by God’s grace.
Nice work Teju, go for it! Brainard, thanks for keeping it real.... please keep trusting in the LORD, alone! Diaspora na different ball game sha. Hope Femi is aware that his face hasn't changed much but for the fuller eki and complexion ...you both have babyface 😊 Truly, Femi likes public transport....I remember commuting with 2 Femis - Brainard and Black from Yaba to Campus inside shuttle bus. More grace, fellow great Akokites!
It seems that during the interview, you were more inclined towards sharing anecdotes and stories of others rather than delving into your own experiences. This approach, while possibly engaging, can sometimes detract from the opportunity for us, as listeners, to learn from your personal journey. It appears that, as you hinted at the beginning, there might be a reluctance on your part to open up and share your own narrative, much like when you relocated to America without informing anyone. Teju attempted to steer the conversation towards your own experiences, yet you continued to recount stories about others, whether they were from your family, friends, or acquaintances. Consequently, I didn't have the chance to gain a deeper understanding of the authentic Femi Brainard. Sharing personal experiences can be daunting, but it's often through these narratives that we truly connect and learn from one another. Embracing vulnerability and openness in storytelling can enhance the richness of any conversation and allow others to relate to you on a more profound level. So, in future interactions, I encourage you to consider sharing more of your own experiences to foster a deeper connection with your audience.
So much exegesis and epistle written over the choice of a guest's medium of communication, or relating personal experiences. With due respect, you need to understand that it takes a lot to be vulnerable, and in dealing with personal issues in public domain, wisdom is most profitable to direct. At least he tried to be open to the best of his abilities, and that for me is just okay. We must not all be explicit with our own narratives, after all, no one can tell your story better than you. I want to humbly enjoin everyone to learn to accept people, as well as their unique stories just how they choose to present them. In all, it is well.
Excuse me Sir. Do you criticize for a living? This is a beautiful interview. You don't tell anyone how to pass their message across. His message was clear and that he didn't talk about himself is total fallacy.
Did we listen to the same interview?? I am not sure what more you are looking for, this is very apt and informative. How can someone tell his/her story without making mention of other people?
@@gloryasworld...7144people will never accept the way others can do their own thing, always criticizing, writing an epistle to show dissatisfaction on the way he tabled his story..hmmm.oga Gan ni..
Who are they? The problem is Blacks always feel there's something there always, they refuse to think in depth are they're in West, they lack innovations and inventions sadly they failed to see they're existing in an unorganised society the with no structure. This is why I see that Thomas Jefferson, David Hume, Abraham Lincoln are right about Blacks, son of Noah!🎉
I enjoyed every bit of this interview, i could easily relate because i and my family Jakpaed, it takes the grace of God to find your feet. Keep fighting folks, there's light at the end of a tunnel
Finally I get to hear from people of like minds! God bless you for keeping it so real. I must go back and read the story of the children of Israel. I have always said it, don't think when you get there, things will just fall in place straight up, it's a process! Thanks for this time

Superb interview as always by Teju Babyface with Femi Brainard, accomplished actor and communicator. Liked Femi's relaxed style as he kept it 100% real, not allowing any (Yoruba) "omo ni'bi ni'ran" nonsense to hold him back from getting on with the job at hand. Kudos! There are various stages in life ...and different strokes for different folks.
Good Lord! I totally forgot this man Femi. Wow! Thank you Tẹjú for not letting this one lost forever in my history! How many more are missing that we are yet to discover?!
Germany is one of the places I am focusing on actually. I will be glad if I can know some of the challenges you are facing so I can know how to prepare myself better before coming. Thank you 🙏
Naija may not be as rosy as we desire but I still believe a star actor like Femi had better opportunities here than abroad. For the children's sake, he could have relocated the family and then return later to continue his acting profession. For a top actor, there is the opportunity for brand ambassadorship for significant additional income. And who says he couldn't have risen to producing his own movies? A man's life requires constant appraisal and reappraisal to ensure one is taking the right steps. Perhaps there is more to his situation than he has revealed. I wish him the very best sha.

I believe femi would have been really successful and more fulfilled assuming he remained in Nigeria, he would have done better than he is today. Its painful, People has really lost hope on Nigeria and they don't even mind loosing every good thing about their life in Nigeria which includes their purpose, dreams and what God called them to be in the name of greener pasture. We prefer to lose every good thing about us in a place God has originally created us to be and prefer to slave for the white in a foreign land cos i believe their are limits a black can get to. A well lived life isn't defined by materialism or wealth but its defined by the extent at which you've fulfilled the reason why you were in existence.

This was suppose to be one of the very best episodes considering the Guest you interviewed (FB) and also his story which unfortunately is that of most immigrants. However, being an immigrant myself living in Canada, i will submit that its one of your worst episodes so far. Just like a comedian on a comedy show, Your punchlines are what you use in capturing your audience and keep them yearning for more.. Your Guest starts a story line on a high and by the time we the audience are caught up and looking forward to where and how the story ended, he picks up another story along the way. Another thing i noticed was that, even with the microphone in front of him, he appears to be whispering all through the interview, i had to increase the volume tab on my laptop to 80% to hear him well. I have watched some of your episodes like three or four times because of how the Guest delivered on each issue he/she spoke about e.g. Mark Angel and Joseph Benjamin to mention a few.
