Superlative Southern Rock that soothed my soul and sent it soaring. A wonderful find for me. Five stars and a big thumbs up.
This is it, this is the shit. Real Rock n roll at it's finest. I was not lucky enough to see the other legends in this league but soak up up all the BBS I can. For me they are the best current band around. Right there with zep, Sabbath, stones, acdc, allman's, and all the other bands that changed music and the world I live in. I wouldn't say at its finest, lol. Sounds like a Black Crowes cover band with a country singer's twang replacing Robinson's soul. Not a bad thing by any means; a good rock band. And good is good enough

Hell the entire "Rock N Roll" thing we all know and love is a complete rip off from the blues. But I didn't realize the Black Crowes have a completely original sound. LMFAO good to know. While I agree that all bands borrow from that which came before, this is almost tonally identical to early-90's Crowes. The Crowes definitely borrowed alot from the skank/heroin era Stones, Velvet Underground, Dead, & Muscle Shoals r&b in their first few albums, but they didn't just copy the tone, hence why I didn't say they sound like a Stones cover band. The Crowes would go on to be one of the most iconic hard blues/psychedelic rock bands of all time, and now their "sound" is unmistakeable, and that is why it struck me as being so very similar. That does not make it bad though, it just made it hard for me to see past it initially. This band is growing on me more and more, and I really hope they see success and are afforded the chance to further evolve for years to come. I know I'll be supporting them when the world gets back to normal as we need more good, straight-ahead rock bands in the current musical landscape. Again, sorry for being kind of a dick. Take care
