What I love about this drama is the director and the writer have made such beautiful scenes and story that are appropriated with their age gap. Kudos to Ji Sung and Lee Se Young for their great acting.
This drama deserves win best drama award, best couple award, best actor and actress award. I say what I said! This drama was so amazing and great. I swear. Ji Sung deserves win grand daesang for his acting in Doctor John also Se Young. Both of them have a great and strong chemistry. I hope Doctor John season 2 but I want the *SAME* actor and actress! or I will sue the director the writer or whatever.

It takes a lot of trust and understanding for someone to be a spouse of an actor/actress. Look at Jisung, he's so caring towards Se Young (wiping her tears, removing dirt/hair from her face while she cried, holding her when she was tired after running, etc). If put in other circumstances, actually it's very rare for guys to do those to women who are not their girlfriend. So those acts are not common and can easily been seen as a flirtatious act. But because of the actors/actress's career, they have to constantly be in a good shape (makeup, hairstyle, clothes, etc) so it's actually very common on set for actors to interact with those actions, which can be interpreted wrongly by outsiders who do not understand what's going on in an actor's career. It's easy for others to misunderstand JS and SY had something on (that's why some fans also fantasize over some CP) or will have something on (without knowing he's married). Not only in this drama, in others like Secret and KMHM, he needed to kiss his on-screen partner and the filming was required to repeat for several times to get different shots at different angles. Certain behaviours can be easily misunderstood. So it takes a lot of trust and understanding to be the real life partner of any actor/actress. I'm glad that Bo Young is an actress so she can really understand what's really going on on set. And it also takes a lot of discipline for Jisung to not overthink on kissing scenes. So kudos to Jisung, Bo Young, Se Young and everyone else.
Anime Manic If they have discipline, trust and understanding from both parties, and are doing well in their lives, why should they be single? Acting is just a career for one to pursue his passion and earn money. Ultimately, it's the quality of life and the person you're living with that matter more. So I disagree with you that they should be single. If their partners can accept then just be together. There are many couples who managed both their family and career very well.
