But we are very influenced by styles we see in our own media - cute, youthful aesthetics, posh yet covered, and comfort over tightness, etc, are popular. Us southeast asians are tiny (some east asians too) hahaha our sizes runs smaller than most western brands. Pants that shows ankles are a thing here. Also, the reason why most of the dresses aren't fitted on the waist is because most east asian girls don't have much curves (boobs, ass, and hips) soooo instead of going for the sexy curvy vibe, most would go for relaxed straight kind of cute vibe :)

I really want to go to like Japan or Korea for buying clothing, I am dutch, country of giants but am 158 cm or 5'2 and quite thin, so everything is too long and broad for me in both my country, and most european countries.
@@raginipatil5994 yep, I'm chinese filipino and I'm 4'10. I have other asian friends who are tall and thin, and tall and curvy. Most east asians are thin and fair skinned. South east asians usually are short, tanned and have a bit more curve. Then there's South Asia, Central Asia, North and West who all look a bit different from southeast asians and east asians. It just so happens that in almost every show/movie Asians are usually represented by east asians hence the stereotype.

I think the items aren’t that short. Yesstyle is actually made for Asian customers with Asian sizes, so that the Asian people who live all around the world has the chance to buy clothes with sites that they fit. I‘m really happy that websites like Yesstyle and Aliexpress exist because so many clothing are often too long for me.
I'm half white British and half Chinese. I am petite with a tiny frame, inherited from my mum. Yes Style caters for East Asian frames, which are typically much smaller than Caucasian frames. Clothes in the West tend to cater for tall, larger builds so I struggle to find petite clothes in smaller sizes.
Thank you for giving back to the animal sanctuary. I volunteered my time during college at a large cat sanctuary. We must stop the abuse of animals they too have feelings and do get scared when life is threatened.
I love YESSTYLE!! Most things I get from them are good quality and get me a lot of compliments because they’re unfamiliar here in the west. You should definitely check the reviews on the products before you buy them. Also if you like the website but not sure if what you’re getting will be nice or not, I would say familiarize yourself with the brands on there. Most Korean brands are of good quality especially Chuu and other ones. I find that the with the Korean brands on the website, they are a lot more polished and are mostly hits compared to the Chinese, Japanese and others on the website. That last coat is BEAUTIFUL!!
about the length of the sleeves of the first coat, i think they intended to make it a bit shorter so that the sleeves of the top inside could be shown, but you will need a top with some beautiful laced sleeves 😆

with Yesstyle it's sometimes a hit or miss, you should always check the reviews, I found that most hoodies and sweatshirts are very comfortable same with most t-shirts, while some skirts and pants are a lot of the times way smaller then what they say or made of very cheap material
Or you check the product details on yesstyle. I order most of my clothes there even when there are no reviews. I always look at the product details and information to see if it's worth it and what size to get
Yesstyle is a korean site and clothes are made by their size and you know koreans are super skinny and their shoulders are large as you can see models so it is so normal to not look like on models. Short leg's and arm's length is made to be short because they like showing ankle and wrist so they are not short. They like baggy outfits and skinny outfits to so there is no middle of it.
Yeah, i feel like they make sleeves and pants' lengths a little short so that their arms and legs would look longer... even tall people do so, it looks good

Big tip next time, measure yourself with a tape measure, write them down and shop by those measurements instead of getting your usual size because Asian frames tend to be smaller and less curvier then western frames.
With the first jacket, while it is rather cute, you can make the sleeves a three quarter length, and then were it with some light long gloves ^-^ would be stunning!!!

Yesstyle doesn't make the things it sells, it is only a distributor. The majority of the clothes on it are from legit brands in Asia while there are still a fair number of mimic brands. I tend to trust the ones with reviews or just try my luck. I have bought a lot of things from there and so far they have all been of exceptional quality especially for the price. With the sizing issue make sure to ALWAYS check the details, there are the measurements of everything there, if you don't check and it fits wrong that's on you. Not at all wish or AliExpress. More like ASOS, Debenhams, and Zalando. If you know how to work the filters it’s great. I always put the filter on “Korean brands” cause then you can get stuff they actually sell in the streets of Korea and the popular cosmetic brands like Etude House, Innisfree and Cosrx. Then for less special pieces I don’t bother with the Korean brands filter. Stuff goes on sale VERY VERY OFTEN, so for the yearly basics like long sleeves, tanktops, socks and whatever, you can go all out and bulk it for super cheap but not compromising the quality. Reliable Korean clothing brands are CHUU, LIPHOP, Envy Look, Icecream12, Merongshop, Dabagirl and Hotping. They have all kinds of home things too. So in that sense it is also very similar to Shein, except with actual brands.
Ngl I wish she did a better job of reviewing yesstyle. It would be helpful if she said the prices for each individual one (showed it one screen), what size she ordered positively, and linked the items in the description. But thats just my opinion and still love her 💘

I think a lot of East Asian clothing is deliberately straight cut as opposed to fitted/body hugging which is typical in more Western clothes!!
