Temper Trap's songs really do have a weird euphoric effect. Sweet Disposition and Fader are so different in style, yet they both make me feel so ridiculously happy.

I agree that it's a lot but when compared to a quickly mashed-together Pewdiepie video (or anyone of that area) getting similar or higher views, the number doesn't seem as good all of a sudden. Especially when compared to how long it takes to make this video compared to theirs. I agree with you, but I guess I'm just sad I don't really hear from this band anymore haha.

I got my dad to start listening to them not to long ago. He’s 60 and it brings me joy knowing that he can embrace quality music from my generation!

Just needed a little Temper Trap in my life today!
This song will always take me back to Fort Canning in Singapore at the very first Laneway Festival in Singapore. We traveled up from KL together, it rained and Fort Canning turned from green to brown and Temper Trap were on stage. This song came on and for some reason we decided to stomp to the beat at the oooo parts as the rain fell. So cathartic, so freeing so muddy😂. Good times.
✨I got the amazing opportunity to get a scholarship to study in Ireland in college for a semester after a Harry Potter-- Lemony Snicket’s vibe childhood and I would put this on to walk to class in the misty rain in Dublin. It was magic ✨

"Fader" which was released here in the States during the first months of this past decades (and that actually gained some radio traction by the end of 2010) has been, I think, the best song of the 2010's. I don't think in 2 years' time, were ever gonna get a song better than this that encapsulates the vibrant spirit of the 2010's that sound as original yet proud if it's influences and also as simple but also as full of heart and excellently simplified and geniously to the point as The Temper Trap did with 'Fader' here.

I have this song on my iPod but I never really listened to it until today. I was walking alone to The train station and The streets were so full of people. Somebody was eating their lunch, running, somebody was walking fast like me. It was like a movie, all those people, all those lifes, it was pretty nice
I love this song, especially it's use in the film tomorrow when the war began (I love that movie so much! I think it's also cause I have such a connection to it being in Australia too, cause hardly any films are filmed here it seems)
