      Hello Daivid Gibson, thanks for watching the video and subscribing to the channel...good question! I can't say for sure, I replaced the whole system as it was old and beaten up. I'm not sure if slip on are available but you might want to try Cobras site or someone like J&P Cycles. I'd be interested to know how it goes. Cheers! 👍🍻

      Hi David thanks for your question. Cobra recommend using a power commander, it's an FI system. I am going to add one shortly probably an FI2000. The bike runs very nicely without one and there's more low speed, high gear power but there's popping on decel which I was aware might happen. Best regards, Mick.

    any issues with running rich or anything?

    • @Guvnarides-WI2020
      @Guvnarides-WI2020  2 года назад +1

      Sorry for the late reply. It does run a bit rich but that's what smooths out the "lunging" when in lower gears at lower speeds. I've lost about 10 miles on a tank full overall compared to before but the performance has improved...maybe I'm just pushing it a little harder now lol! Thanks for watching! 👍👍

      @@Guvnarides-WI2020 no worries. I appreciate you taking the time to reply at all. That is good to know. Mine has the stock pipes for the c line. I like it. But I think it's alittle rich. Still trying to sus out what my mpg is.

    Hi there Guvna Rides, thank you for taking the time out to make and post this video. I too have a VTX 1800 c and have been trawling the net looking for some different pipes, all to no avail. May I ask where you picked yours up from? I'm also in the UK and have seen lots advertised on UK sites but unfortunately they don't actually have them in stock. I'm also curious if you got round to fitting a power commander yet and whether it sorted the popping? Regards Dan

      Hello Dan9693, thanks for liking and subscribing. I am actually an Englishman now living in the USA, I bought my exhaust system from J&P Cycles here in the US. I love the sound and performance and did add a fuel controller which got rid of the popping but I have an issue with it which I posted in an update video. I'll update again one it has been resolved. Regards, Mick.

    Too bad you did not drive it and get on it so we could really hear how it sounds.

      At the time I didn't have the front boards on so no shifter linkage etc. It was more a winter project. I have other riding videos up tho!👍
